@@ClearCreekTaxidermy I totally agree. I’m on and off about the topic of hunting, I want to hunt black bears for food and for taxidermy. I’m an aspiring taxidermist at thirteen years of age. I’ve only mounted one thing. A full body squirrel, I’ll post a video of it later when my legs aren’t cramping anymore. :/

Another awesome video! My capes always come back from the tannery with at least a little eye damage. After I get my shop moved I’ll be doing some investing in a mini flesher and other tanning supplies. I wonder if one can use the mini flesher to thin out tanned hides instead of the big machines🤔 Knowing me I’d lop off a finger

Hey thanks for watching! Yes you can use the mini flesher to thin down any area that needs to be thinned down. And about lopping off a finger let’s not even go there! 😂

@@ClearCreekTaxidermy Every time I go into the shop I usually come out in bandaids😂 I don’t want to take my chances with a big Dakota machine. Thanks! I couldn’t find an answer to that question, I have a nice whitetail hide to experiment on! Can’t wait to learn the tanning process
