Attack on Titan logo hoodie, I like. My parents' dog has a dew claw so overgrown it curved all the way over like a pirate hook getting caught on carpet and toys, despite every other claw worn down naturally from walks and runs. I guess since the dew claw doesn't make contact with the ground, it never gets worn down. Lucky they are thinner than other claws so thanks to your video, I could clip it easily.

im currently watching videos to learn how to do my dogs nails, and yours are the best. im still terrified though. my husband cut his nails one time and got the quick, and my dog was upset for awhile, we then just took him to get them done at petsmart and he did good, but id like to be able to do them myslef. im just so very scared and my dog can sense that. i wish i c ould just bring him to you!! lol thanks so much for the videos.

This was really helpful. I found that even when I had the vet clip my dog's nails, they were neglecting the dew claws, and they were beginning to curl. He had to have surgery recently, so I made sure to point out that I wanted the dew claws cut back. Is there a specific dremel tool and tips that you would recommend?

Do the dogs get used to regular clipping? My Chihuahuas resist quite a bit. I think they are becoming more patient with the process but it sure makes the whole thing tense. Like all owners, I am a bit terrified of hurting them by clipping too high.

Is that a special dremel bit? looks like maybe diamond bit? its not stone from the looks of it. i have been trying to figure out a dremel bit to grind nails without the grinding causing a lot of vibration to travel up through the nail into the foot and freaking the dogs out.

I don’t know exactly how to be a consultant for others having issues. I have more trouble with my Cairn Terrier’s dew claws than all the other claws combined. Black, so problems seeing the quick. Lots of hair. Small dews vs my baseball mitt hands. Afraid to clip them and too small to grind especially if they are curved. Dang! 🤷🏻‍♂️

Yes, your video helps a lot. I had a groomer trim the dews enough so they are not badly curved and I can get the grinder on them better. The one on the back right leg is the most difficult for me. I’m left handed and it’s hard to get the grinder in position. I just need more practice. It’s a right handed world you know. 🤨

talks too fast, too low and my dog would never let me squish her foot like that. Her dew claws curve into a circle into her leg, and she didn't show that and how to handle it.
