Thank you for this, just moved into a new house and one of the cameras has randomly gone out as we are renovating. Trying to figure it out myself and we assume that there’s no longer any power to the camera even though all of the other ones work

I've had water get into the power plug at the camera end and rot out the center part of the plug...

One of my lorex camera outlet (#7) is not recording . All other 1-8 are working. When I switch #7 camera to #8 it works and records. To be clear no continuous or motion recording is being done whereas I can see the video on the monitor (but it is not being recorded).

Sounds like the problem is in the box..I suppose you tried rebooting it..

My dvr has power but doesn’t display anything on the hdmi. I ordered an vga to hdmi adapter but when my unit powers up the cameras keep making a clicking sound.

Did you unplug the dvr to see if it resets..you might have to log on again. It seems the unit has froze

I bought a system from a store a few years ago and it worked, then one day the recorder stopped working completely. I don't know what to make of it. LNR6108x-n is the recorder, how to troubleshoot it? What could go wrong?

I would unplug it for an hour or so and then plug it back in and see if it reboots from the beginning

I'm becoming very unhappy with my Lorex, it's more issue after issues. I can't view video I get a message saying "something went wrong" I use to hit refresh and was good to go, not now. The camera on the back of my house at night time it looks very cloudy-smokey. My other issue is why don't all of my cameras catch everything? Like, I'll be watching the monitor, I'll see someone mowing across the street, dog or cat in my yard. It sees it just FINE. Yet I don't get an alert on my phone. That makes absolutely no sense. Mainly at night time only 1 camera will be doing it's job. I guess the other 2 are asleep... What does the C or M mean on the monitor? Hopefully someone can help, thanks.

i have learned to use the system correctly we do need to upgrade the power supply as the guy suggest i have 8 camera system and after upgrading the power supplu i have only one camera that goes out sometimes i put the fan (air) facing the rear of dvr itself and power supply to keep it cool inside works + good luck

One of mine wire camera gone out today, rebooting device is not working , switching poe cable with other channel camera is not working, just got it for 3 months.

You switched the wires behind the unit and it didn't work..the only way now is to use another wire separately and go to the camera, or take the camera off and hook it up to the unit with a new wire to verify if its the camera or the wire itself

The 2 cameras that are giving you problems, disconnect the power wire going to them and see if it makes a difference

@@alyoungcuda so I found Extra cables that connect to the cameras and connected them to a spare camera left it connected for about 1-2 hours and looks like it’s running fine but the problem with the Wi-Fi is there can’t look at the cameras at all keeps having the arrow to refresh already restarted my router and same

It works for maybe like 30 min than it goes offline on the app but the cameras are fine on my tv it steady does this I’m getting really frustrated with this

I have one camera that works in the day but not at night. The screen will say offline.

See if the red lights are on at night..if not then the camera went bad
