This is kind of how I did my work for the last 15 to 20 years whenever a company came out with a great idea and stuck it on a circuit board and it failed sticking a relay bypassed the problem still works as it's designed just has an extra part on the side now

Thank you for all the work you do to show us things we can do or try. I purchased the 447-0 Nu-Calgon coil Gun, and the Tri-Pow'r HD. Little confused on the instructions. For cleaning outside unit, at the bottom of the gun where the * is says If the Coil Gun Probe is used, "A" setting mixes at 4:1 dilution and "B" setting at5:1 dilution. The dilution chart gives a different calculation. Adding the probe changes the setting ratio correct. For outside you use the "A" setting and put the Tri-Pow'r HD in the Coil Gun, for the amount you think you will be using and poor the rest back into the original Gallon. Sorry for bothering you about this. Don Allen

For the relay, you should have put one wire for the common and then put both white and yellow on the other side of the relay coil. To prevent the power from back tracking into the yellow while the white is on, visa versa, add a one way diode. Thoughts?
@6barry66
@6barry66 Жыл бұрын
Dude make life easy for yourself throw the diode out hot wire the circulator fan while you go to the store and get a circuit board. Just a loud the The circulator fan to run all the time so when the cooling comes on it's going And make life easy for yourself instead of getting 10 relays and 4 Diodes.

Whenever i go on residential calls, quick easy way to check blower is take whatever speed tap is calling and i just run it to the door switch. Motor fires up then u know its board. Unless it's a good ol ecm motor. But the supco tester figures that out.

@deanburke3041

So the relay was bad because it didn't put voltage from the board to close the contacts? It energized with 110 volts to close NO contacts on relay to power 220 volt motor, I think. That 110 voltage would certainly burn up the motor. I've seldom seen rbm relays go bad. Easy to test. Please tell me what I missed. I'll view it again. I seldom had problems with Trane equipment like that.

Why don't you just hot wire the fan while you run to the store and get a new circuit board instead of adding relays and all this other nonsense which you're just gonna take apart a couple hours later. Just put the fan and continuous operation.
