Hey Jeff thanks for all the info you're putting out. Bought your GET ECU wifi combo for me 2022 500 EXC-F and just installed it. Bike is running so much stronger now. Love it.

Thank you for the info, Jeff. Seems very much like the Yamaha tuner only on the cellular app. Very cool!

I bought this Get ECU from Slavens for a 2022 KTM 500 EXC-F. I have converted the bike to a snowbike. Is there a map in the ECU for snowbiking?
@slaverace111 ай бұрын
Hello There is not a snow map in your ECU. You will need to send it to us to be updated. Please call our store and ask for Alec.

Great video mate thanks. I can't find instructions to set the launch control dash, also don't know what MFL led means. Have any thoughts? Thanks
@slaverace1 Жыл бұрын
Hello Arthur: For this question you should contact the company that sold it and mapped it for you. Without knowing where some of the base LC settings are set it is difficult to help. Also, what is the year, brand and model of your bike? Does it have the GET LC GPA device installed?

Jeff, I run a 2020fe501s in high altitude single track with a load of camping gear it will often get hot. Is it a fair statement to say adding more fuel will help my bike from overheating? I've already got t stat delete and samco hoses. Thank you sir

Hi Jeff, are there general map settings out there to help with flame out? Here in Kentucky, we dont have crazy elevation or anything. Bike tends to flame out especially when its hot out.
@slaverace13 ай бұрын
We have GET ECU mapping for all types of riding and elevations.
@howiedang3 ай бұрын
@slaverace1 could you share what an optimized mapping is for woods riding, at 1500ft elevation? I'm just trying to fix my flaming out issue. Maybe it could just be all the slow riding and loading up on fuel.

Great video and info, do you know what the ignition advance setting is on a stock KTM 300 tpi is?
@slaverace1 Жыл бұрын
No, and I don't see the need.

Very Informative Jeff! Can't wait to see a review once you've had the chance to put some miles on using the GET. I should be down your way to pick one of these up from you soon.
@slaverace15 жыл бұрын
FeenixRyzing I’ve been using the GET on tpi models for over 2 years. I have 3 TPIs with GETs and absolutely love them. The GET not only fixes the lean fueling issue, it makes them run much stronger. With the stock ECU they are wimpy and boring.

Can I make any adjustments to my tuning to make the throttle more progressive or should I just get a G2 Throttle Tamer?
@slaverace15 ай бұрын
Hello: A throttle Tamer makes the throttle response more linear, not progressive. Linear = smooth, progressive = hard hit.
@SVFRacing1175 ай бұрын
@@slaverace1 Progressive would mean less response with less throttle and increasing response with increasing throttle and linear would be the same amount of response the entire throttle turn?

What if the bike wants to stall when you have 1-5% throtle going real slow, it lugs fu e until I go to give it a tiny bit of gas and it stalls or stutters ? I haven't blocked of the ais yet on a crf450l

Running a Get sx1. I figured it out, I had the idle set way too high, must have confused the ecu. Lowered idle and works perfect now, cheers

How are you testing to see if the changes made are improvements? Assometer and pulling the plug?
@slaverace15 жыл бұрын
This video is for consumers to learn how to make changes if they want. I use the GET Maya software for changes and test with a dyno and assometer.

Why in my WR250x(2008) WiGet app looks more simple? There are only IG, Fi, Limeter(rpm), Gear Cut options. No table as in the video.

Is this GET ECU only applicable to the newer 17-19, 20 bikes? I have a 16 bike, would this ECU be of any benefit to my bike?
@slaverace15 жыл бұрын
Sorry, it won't work on your '16. Your bike has a CDI, not an ECU which is for fuel injected bikes only.

So this unite will change fuel with elevation?
@slaverace13 жыл бұрын
The 4 stroke model compensates more than the 2 stroke unit but for guys that ride and live at low elevation but vacation in mountain states, we load the ECU with a low and high elevation map.

So let's say map 1 is maxed out and balls to the wall 60+ hp but you can go into map 1 where everything is at 0% and add another 30% on top of what's already been mapped to it, isnt that super dangerous to your engine? Not trying to be a negative nancy I'm just confused on that part because I am interested in getting this very soon.
@YogiTheBearMan2 жыл бұрын
I think that would just adjust your fuel air mixture to more fuel. As he said in the video too much fuel won’t hurt your engine, might foul spark plugs. Too lean could hurt which is why they only let you go -10% max in the lean direction.
