You're a great teacher, Toni. I'm making the sampler blanket and this square is my first try ever at Tunisian crochet. This video was all the information I needed. Everything looks good! 😄

thank you for this tutorial! i've taken an interest in tunisian crochet, and i even caved and bought the clover takumi hooks (i was trying to hold out for them as a christmas gift from my parents, but they were half price and i couldn't wait anymore). i'm doing this stitch by itself as a stand-alone blanket and loving the simplicity of it so far!

For anyone who also does Swedish Weaving - you can see that the 'floats' can be used to do that technique once finishing the Tunisian Crochet. TY for this video.

I have seen two different people do this seed stitch and they use the tks and then the trs. reverse instead of the tps stitch...I was confused because I just bought the Tunisian Crochet Stitch Dictionary and the instructions are the same as you have here on your channel. Thanks for clarifying the stitch.

Love the music. That is so you! Can this stitch be doubled, knit two, purl two...? I'm just curious if doing that would do anything bad or uneven.
@TLYarnCrafts4 жыл бұрын
I'm sure it could - give it a try :-)

In knitting that if stacked knits on knits and purls on purls, it’s a rib. If doing like the seed stitch but 2 stitches is called a double seed. And if you alternate 2 rows of K2, P2 with P2, K2 it’s refereed to as the moss stitch!

Try Joann fabrics.micheals. hobby lobby. I've seen 14metal ones as the longest, otherwise buy the ones with a cord. A few videos back she talks about her hook stash
