If you want to get the loud noise away from you/your vacuum, place a spare hose in the exhaust side, and point the other end away from you.

Sorry, but your vacuum bearing has worst axial Quality! Also your Demo at Beginning Video. And for regulation of vaccum a Needle gauge ist needed, much better than a ball- chuck. (Kugelhahn). Such one is only useful to connect or cut off Air or vacuum!! 😫 👎
