Pinterest is supposed to be rolling out a feature so that you can directly link idea pins to an external link but for now you can't. We usually put the desired link in the description of the idea pin for now.

Thanks for your feedback, MaryLou. Everyone has different learning styles! If needed, you can always reduce the playback speed to 0.75 so the video is a bit slower and easier to follow along.
