In my opinion, one of the best ideas ever. That modified eyelet with a plastic insert that makes it useable as an eyelet or bowl cutting tool should become standard on Swiss Army Knives.

Hi Felix, it's been said before but I'll happily repeat that yours is one of the most wholesome, fun and interesting channels on KZbin. Like many people, but unlike most knife reviewers, I don't have very deep pockets. I love the fact that none of your modifications cost much or require expensive tools. I have a Huntsman lite with almost every mod you recommend added to it. Thank you so much for hours of amusement watching and performing these modifications, many of which have proved essentially useful when camping or travelling. We have long, wild winters in Connemara, Ireland and you have done wonders to help me through them. Thanks and keep up the good work 👏 ❤

Felix, Victorinox needs to fund a KZbin series where you spend a week in a jungle ‘surviving’ with your Victorinox kit. Nothing extreme, just you making relevant projects. I understand your channel is not a ‘survival’ channel, but a ‘hobbie’ one, that’s why I said it wouldn’t be anything ‘extreme’. Some of my favourite projects you’ve given us have been the ‘rocket stove’ and the ‘chicken rotisserie’.

I made a loop that goes on my belt with a clip on the end of it. The SAK hangs from it so it's not banging around in bottom of my pocket but is still readily accessible.

I have a feeling that you could make that clip, by inserting something into the cork screw. Ideally, it would screw in like the grey handled screw driver. Do you know how to make something like that grey handle?

wow that actually worked so much better than i thought. if you drill a hole in the middle if the sheath you can clip an s-biner/quick clip and use like a key ring and it secures it 100% Thanks for another great video, have a great day.

Hey, great idea. I haven't made it yet, but planning to carve a wood piece similar to the screwdriver for the corcscrew. And to put instead of the screwdriver a small drill bit into it, and just store it in the screwdriver. Feel free to use the idea, if it makes sense to anyone.

That was a great modification. I would like for the Swiss Army Knife to come up with a Bushcraft multi-tool knife that has a knife, file, saw, spoon tool, scissors, hook, and awl. I think that would be a good seller.

I sharpened the side of a spoon to clean pie pumpkins of seeds. I used a Dremel and a pro milling cutter. Very proud of it, lol, because it makes my mom's work alot easy. Edit: the rubber cap is an awesome ideea to protect the Victorinox A.3643 mini screwdriver in the side pocket of my Surge (inserted in the ratchet driver). Thank you, its way better then my previous solution.

Even better to remove the plastic scales before making the scarp to protect them from marks you could even temporarily wrap tape around for added comfort until finished. Thanks for sharing this great hack!
