Hello.
Today, to celebrate Korean New Year's Day, I made financier, a French dessert, with traditional Korean sweets.
I put jujube as a topping, it's really luxurious and I think it would be a great gift as well.
The financier I made today seemed to double the chewy texture by applying grain syrup.
Grain syrup is not as sweet as honey and has a very good texture and taste.
It was so delicious that I think I continued to eat it while testing. 🤣
As toppings, I tried roasted rice, roasted brown rice, and black sesame seeds.
The toppings should be prepared according to your taste. I think roasted sesame seeds would be good too!

◼ Korean traditional sweets financier ◼

120 g egg whites
125 g sugar
2 g salt
Grain syrup 30g ( honey x)
30g cake flour
30g bread flour
80g almond powder
140g unsalted butter (This is the weight before making brown butter.)
grain syrup
Roasted rice for topping, roasted brown rice, black sesame
Dried jujube (can be omitted)
