my mother told me to read books on famous people, because as she put it in her broken english " you are drawing on the entire life experience of someone, that is gold". reviews of your book are good. I think ill pick it up soon. love the 450lb quote. and the judging on intention / action quote tho that goes to Adam C. as for why people are defensive when given advice, I think its because our culture is so quick to criticize and tear down others. You may be giving golden advice born out of a decade of blood sweat & tears but too many people are going to take it as an attack on their fragile ego. oh and above all else thanks for the free info.

Hey Tai, been listening to your podcasts almost non-stop these past view days and I am loving what I have learned so far and your views and philosophy on life are extremely fascinating. You should do a 'day in the life' type video where you break down a typical day and how much time you allocate doing what/your routines that allow you to get the most out of your day, it would be a great insight for an aspiring successful business owner. Thanks!

Your argument for debate is spot on with what I've been telling people. Although they agree, most do not care to be bothered by the conversation unless they are in severe pain related to the topic of discussion.

I find that debating on youtube has helped my skills of persuasion immensely, particularly in reinforcing my belief system in the paleo diet because you can speak to an enormous amount of opposing ideologists and paleo leaders with in a time frame that wouldn't be possible in real life. Because of the practice I've managed to persuade some family and friends into the paleo lifestyle. I appreciate the short and simple advice on hanging on to something for success. I needed to hear that in order to break my habit related to the daily lack of clarity I endure, that clear vision is especially essential for me right now as I embark on my first oil field job within North America's largest oil reserves.

I had this idea a wile ago, I started throwing all change in a bottle, copper seperate, and the Washington's in an envelope. Just $2.50 a day for a year is almost a G. Anything is better than nothing. Also encouraging loved one's to eat healthy, and exercise. Each one teach one. Like you said learn somthing, from everybody. We need to focus on the task, issue, or goal at hand, by being fully present with it, to produce the greatest outcome's.

F.GooglePlus U are giving us the "text book" definition of Net-worth.............what I am speaking of fits into a Adam Smith definition. EVERYTHING anyone gets in life comes from PEOPLE and the RELATIONSHIPS that U have with those people, including money and assets.. What runs the world is SOCIAL CAPITAL. The primary difference between a rich person and financially poor person is their "social capital" within their "social network". If U took away all of Bill Gates's money and wealth........within a short period of time he would have it all back, based on the social capital he has built up and maintained via his social networks.

Oh love the highlights. First thing when I started practising law, I wanted to understand the whole procedure, from every aspect and absorb everything.. so one day I asked my mentor: out of the court everybody has their own truth, but in here there is one part with their truth, opposite side with their own truth who are "killing each other" to explain why they're right.. and thats why you are here the judge, that will hear the both stories and tell them the objective truth which lies in the middle, isn't it? .. And it stayed in my mind for a while, read a few books about mediators, whose goal is exactly what you said - to know the both sides so well, that he could argue with them and win in both.. My research for master degree is on that topic. But, from what I read is that people need this third impartial person, who can talk without ego and emotions. Sad but truth..

You don't understand who Tai is. A one time purchase book would never be as valuable or sought after as a live program. Plus the 67 steps entry fee is £67. That's £1 per step. Best deal ever. And selling a book for that much? You'd be lucky for someone to want a book half that price, even with Tai's influence.

Hey he is right about sticking to goals. Just keep coming back to it until you have your first epiphanies about your new skill you are developing. I was derailed early in my life by illness at age 12 and never thought I could recover after a decade of almost no achievements. Then I took a class on logic and my eyes opened up and I began following my original dreams of wanting to be a skilled math and physics master. At age 21 my illness struck hard again and I was in a deep depression for several years barely functioning again. I read up on my own health and about antioxidant rich food and the power of growth hormone with proper sleep and exercise and food of course. I started small with yoga stretches because I was so out of shape, it was amazing to actually be able to sit and walk and your body is flexible and obeys your commands. Then I bought outliers, blink, and sun tzu's art of war and realized that life is a struggle and most people take the direct approach and are predictable as hell. I decided that I would test these ideas on strategy games like chess and other highly competitive games. In one week I had defeated the 1st place player in my time zone on the west coast. I suddenly saw how people had severely set themselves up for failure by having hindsight bias. Everyone is a victim of this. It is where we say "I told you so" or "I knew this would happen!". People often believe things are easy or predictable after they watched it occur. Study critical thinking in psychology and statistics. It will save you from thinking all the wrong thoughts and beliefs about the way the world works. One more thing about my story I kept hammering away at math, but not in necessarily gigantic binges because that runs the risk of being boring which is counterproductive to memorization so change up what you do, for example bounce between a skill like math and something fast paced like music or what ever hobby you might have as a sort of 30 min reward and refresh. Then get back to your skills you need and if you get stuck then that means you are paying attention. Just sleep on it because you learn in your dreams things the waking brain simply cant understand. Look up this study by an Israeli scientist about learning in your sleep. It was quite recent and could change your life as well. Any way I started out very screwed in so many ways in my life and nearly lost my dreams. I now have rapidly picked up algebra, trig, cal, physics and just recently purchased a particle physics book, something I thought I would never achieve due to so many health setbacks. Stephen hawking and Jimi Hendrix are heroes to me because they suffered similar problems and enjoyed some of my favorite subjects. A hero is only helpful if you can relate to them. Be your self, deep down you know who that is, and you know it is the only thing that actually makes people happy. I hope at least one person uses this to reconfigure their lives and overcome what you think you want and go for what you really want with a disciplined focus on your primary goals, choosing not to make the second best choice and instead making the best choice as often as you can.

Hey Tai! I just wanted to thank you so much for making these videos. I first got exposure from you in RSDTyler, and really thought nothing much of you. Then I saw you again, probably a month later from this website called EliteDaily...about the "fathers of youtube" or something...and it sparked an interest. From that moment (3 hours ago), I probably watched at least 3 hours of you today. :D You mention some things about "Delusional Entitlement" and that's been a major problem in my head that I didn't know how to sort out. It's been a major problem with me, and probably a lot of people in my generation. It caused my grades in school to downgrade from A's to F's in a matter of a semester...just because I knew some stuff and read some books that most people didn't know (or at least I assumed). And when I brought up these my higher consciousness topics to the counselors (yes multiple)...they just played it off as it was the usual delusional teenager. I think you mentioned a book about it...something named Cognitive Biases, which I'll finish tomorrow. Well anyways. I just wanted to thank you very much for these videos!!! Getting your 67 steps tomorrow.

I like how being smart can get you to see every avenue of what NOT to talk about, and what to. I think it's neat, how you can expose subjects that are giants in this world explaining why it's problematic to get into it, but still keep your point. and your well spoken in what you say about what you know. this is good. I will talk with my friends about the fact that nutrition is most probably a very personal matter, in the sense that the diet that is good for someone may not be beneficial for other people. I have seen that people really need a certainty that whatever ideological path they choose is the correct one (vegetarians, paleo, carb-free). Unless you really put yourself into the task of digging really deep into the biochemistry of your own body (measuring body fat accurately, measuring blood levels constantly, calories burnt by fat vs calories burnt by carbs, etc.) then you can't really achieve a measurable result. Anyway, I'm starting to argue haha. Thanks for the content Tai, I'm following your 67 steps closely trying to learn as much as I can.

I believe in every argument or debate one can find something of validity or some sort of truth that can be agreed upon by both positions. The truth in essence is relative to the individual and the position with which they take or perceive it. I prefer to generally hear both positions of an argument or an issue with an open and unbiased mind. Often, I find myself trying to understand the person more and why they feel they have taken a certain position or stance on the issue by showing they feel such a way, because x, y, z. A healthy debate in my opinion and a diverse set of perspectives is what enables a truth to be revealed.

Building up my TAW. And considering Real Estate as an investment. Not for the quick flip but the buy and hold method, do you have any advice or references on how to make this approach work to build wealth over time? Could this industry work with the methods mentioned in the book?

I don't see how you can build wealth with that method, think it would work better with a business. You money by flipping in real estate do if you never sell and go on to the next your money I'd capped at only 1 or two properties.

1) 50 dollars a month 2) My inexpensive rent. I should hold on to it. 3) Debate on why reading books is important and essential for quality living, just like eating, breathing and drinking is as well.

Hey Tai You know what. I have been reading over 500 books every year since 2008. when I told my friends that I am reading 2 book a day. no one believed. but when my relative saw it trusted me. but the sad point is that, although I have read over 1000s of books. I am still unemployed. I understood one thing that being smart talker doesnt make u rich, being smart in a specific area would make u rich look warren buffet. he doesnt read 100s of books but he reads related books 100 times. so it makes progress.

Hey Tai could you do a video on your own personal experience to building your companies, investments, and relations. Because there really isn't any information on that and I would love to know how you started. THANKS A LOT!

It's from the Bible but it goes with what you were saying I think. 'Do not judge the spec in another's eye before you deal with the plank in your own eye.'
