Hi i just wanted to ask, i had two parakeets and yesterday i came home and found the female lying on the cage floor dead. I didnt know how she died, i thought the male budgie would be upset but he didnt even look sad, he is still chirping, playing with toys, eating and drinking (acting normal). Is it possible that the male budgie killed the female budgie? I didnt notice them arguing. There wasnt any blood but the body and the male budgie look like they have been fighting for around 3 months. I dont know why the female died, is it possible that the male killed the female?
