@@Quinlan-jo5mo I did it as Prussia though it will probably be easier as Austria.. Until about 1840 you want to build up & stabilize your economy, then build a navy of around 20 to take on Denmark and liberate Schleswig and Holstein.(Roping Sweden into the war by offering a humiliation on Denmark works really well because it provides a frontline directly to the Danish capital.) Work on lowering the political strength of the Junkers by passing laws like dedicated police, and do the Corn laws to try and get homesteading. An alliance with UK, France, or Russia is really important for the fight for German leadership against Austria, which you will want to do around 1846-1852. After you have won that, you just need to improve relations with Austria until they support your bid to form Germany and you will get all of Austria, North German Federation, and the other South German minors like Bavaria. This will leave you with over 100 mil GDP but also a major deficit, you just need to stabilize your economy, build up a military, and wait for the other EU countries like Denmark, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, and the Italians minors if they aren't already unified to have civil wars in which you will side with them to get them as protectorates. If you subjugate them before you do the decision to form HRE they will all be auto anexed.

You should get the *great revision* mod, it gives you some new tax laws that allow you to micro your taxes better. In vanilla you can only choose the level of taxation, but with that mod you can have different levels of taxation for different types of taxes.

Having a bunch of small vassals is actually amazing because you indirectly benefit from their base construction. Meaning you can do stuff like build your industrial base fill you get railroads then build railroads in all your tiny vassals so they build out their base resources to fuel your manufacturing industry. Then later when you integrate them you get a fairly well developed state and all you did was build infrastructure. Plus it makes them more dependent on you so they become more loyal to you as time goes on. I’d recommend you’d try this strat for Ethiopia, it’s immensely powerful especially with the “Better Ethiopian Resources” mod.

If u cant beat Sindh + company, try doing a vassalization on Sikkim. (next to Nepal) EIC always joins in. Remember to set edicts in states and upgrade your troops to line inf. i also swap cav to Dragoons and put Cannons in a seperate army that i save till i start pushing. Try get good defensive generals, and upgrade them to tier 2/3. Also MAKE SURE U DO CORN LAWS FROM DAY 1!

I mean, if you want the achievement in 1.7 this is probably the start you need. But this is such a pure greed, RNG, glass cannon build. Take Sindh only if you're ok restarting when France or GB kills you in 5-30 years. You can RNG into an EIC encounter by attacking Kalat/Makran. Persia is good but makes things harder with Russia and GB.

This strat is outdated since it was recorded on the pre-release patch. Nowadays, the exploit to split the EIC from Britain would be the better path. At the time of this video's creation, the exploit wasn't known. Check out the Denmark guide on my channel for an explanation of that exploit. You can easily apply it to the Sikh Empire.

"Pretty consistent". I was initially happy to, for once, see an up-to-date guide. But many of the things I have seen here did not make it out of the beta, which is obviously considering they were exploits or questionable game designs at best. The switheroo to get free puppets is not possible and an exploit. The EIC will not be beaten "easily" anymore, as they will go all in to win their war against you. Declaring on an EIC puppet will drag Britain in with them. The only thing that is somewhat useful is that if you declare a war on someone the EIC likes and they join, their puppets and Britain will not join the EIC by default.

Why not declare on qing at the start of the game, take tibet yunnan and guangdong, you 3x your your gdp and 2x your population and you get access to the sea by 1837

You need at least tunnan guanxi and guandong to get sea access so 30 infamy times 3 plus 20 for tibet and the entire worlds joins to cut you down to size

Depends on how many subjects you use. With the chance to patch 1.7.4 that now you can annex and reduce autonomy even if subjects have high liberty desire, it likely is fine to go max infamy.

if they take market unification principle, then you do get into their market, and they often do take it, but it's not guaranteed. I personally wouldn't join the British Empire if only because it stands against everything the Sikh Empire fought for but you know.

actually no, it IS pronounced like the word Sick in English. This is how Sikh is written in Punjabi: ਸਿੱਖ I can read Punjabi, and also speak basic Punjabi. This is pronounced almost exactly the same as sick in English. People who claim it's seek have invented that because they worry that it sounds insulting or something stupid to refer to Sikh people as sick. It is NOT pronounced seek.
