If you do this, does the person who created a new account lose their current iPhone content and all of its data? Or will they be able to back up their phone to their new Apple ID and then access shared content with family sharing?

we never shared call logs before the 17.0 update... After the install my wife lost all her contacts and when I added her contacts back on her phone, I had doubles in my contacts ...still sharing call logs and now Im getting the voice mails I leave on her cell as VM's on my phone...

It's a total shit*show! I downloaded and purchased a backup file compatible with Apple Products called iMazing. Spent $59 dollars to back up 3 devices on Tuesday 12/19. Ive been able to back everything up to Imazing and restore my phone from that back up, after erasing all of the existing data from my iPhone 14 Pro Max, (keeping eSim Card data only) and it backs up every time. However, when I follow the steps outlined in the video, I end up losing all my photos (20k +) and some iMessages and Contacts when i create a new Apple ID. I've just created a new apple ID after deleting the two other IDs I set up on Wednesday and Thursday, and i still encounter the same problem. The thumbs down is not for the user who posted it, it's for Apple and their racket with the whole decoupling process. PIMA!
