I'm in a hotel in France and I was trying to connect my PS4 but external sources were blocked (I only got acces to channels and google services). I can confirm that this code still works (tv is very new, must be 2023), I got in the professional menu, received the remark that Appcontrol logs any adaptions, I got to the external source section rather quick and activated HDMI, now I can play, thank you so much!

Nice had to improvise = after entering the code... Press 0 to switch to HDMI... Code has to be entered whilst on a normal TV channel as opposed to the hotel splash screen

Still works on newer Philips models. If you still can't find the HDMI inputs, in one hotel that there wasn't a source button. I found the inputs for HDMI 1-4 on TV channels 796-799. Hope this helps someone

So I have a question, a year ago someone gave me this tv bc they were throwing it away, the problem is that It doesn’t have the remote so I bought a rca universal remote at Walmart, so last year it was a struggle to find how to setup the rca remote with this same tv, I found myself digging until I found one article of how set up the remote with the tv, after that I watched this tutorial with to access the menu, all of this was a year ago, so today (one year later) I forget that I had this tv in my garage, now I can’t find the right way to set up the remote with the tv again it looks like the article is gone, and all the other tutorials and websites doesn’t work, so you have any idea how to set up a rca universal remote with this same Philips tv? People if it's like mine and you haven't got the option of hdmi, just Stereo then keep pressing the code while you have the menu open and I managed to switch to hdmi that way. I hope that helps my lovely people 🥰
