Glad you made this! There's currently no where this method is described. I bought one about 2 weeks ago and was super disappointed to find how slow it was, until I contacted the shop I bought it from and they revealed this method. Now it's faster in Eco mode then is was in sport before.

My Taleria is not unlocking and I removed the brake sensor and kickstand sensor. I tried just sticking the brake sensor in and it didn’t work either…is there any other cheat codes haha don’t want to cut the wire.

Ebikezilla sent me the documentation over to unlock. You need to cut the brown or white wire and then do the code in 20 seconds.

Cutting a wire is some 3rd world shit there's alot to be said for working non destructively everyone thinks they're an "expert" till they make a $4000 mistake cutting the wrong wire on the harness and then they'll be begging for the voided warrantee to cover an "illegal mod" like plebes - seen it a million times. being able to toggle on/off highway mode is a no brainer.

@@garygrinkevich6971 first of all there is no warranty on the sur Ron. Second it's a green wire and it's looped. Very easy to identify. On top of that it's not some 3rd world shit. It's litterally what electricians do and it's easy to. Join the wires. Heat shrink. How do you think new controllers get put on?

@@tintin6291 first off, warranties vary by dealer and location very common to see a date/mileage warranty on any make and model vehicle. Secondly what an electrician does and a layperson thinks they do aren't the same thing no matter how simple +/- you wire it backwards you bought it kiddo, the tech fucks it up the insurance eats it, no contest. Cutting and leaving an exposed wire is hack shit the real way is to remove at the terminal don't leave rats nest wires in the loom. Smh

Bruh just put a paper that says it’s the limit for a class 3 ebike and it put fake stickers on the battery saying it’s a lower voltage they can’t really test it unless they got the amph tester which I doubt they do

Serious question: Can you lock the power again after? In my country police actively check top speeds of bikes and if they’re 30km/h above the limit they get confiscated. 45km/h is the limit and mine does 80 right now..

If you increase the size of the rear sprocket, you will lower the top speed. Mine has a 54t sprocket and the top speed is now 65. Wich in the netherlands only means you get a ticket. Right on the edge for me

Just curious, before unlocking, was Eco and Sport basically the same thing? (Limiting at like 25-30?) mine out of the box did 30 in eco and 45 sport, no unlocking necessary. Great video though! Super fun bike!

It seemed like it didn't work on mine so I cut the wire and installed a switch, which worked. However I've noticed now that I can input the code with power going through the wire and it will work, so seems like after a certain amount of time it unlocks. Also for the first 5 miles or so the regenerative braking didn't work at all, and I had it on the 4th setting. Then out of nowhere I let off the throttle and almost lost the back wheel from under me.

@@SurRonster They are! It is a blast. Surrons are a lot of fun for off-roading, but Super 73 if you press the right brake, you can drift! (Works best in dirt/sand) I had the best results in sand.
