I really wish I knew about these when I first got the game. I really want a top hat for my mii but I don't have the time to play thousands of levels for that. I got the game day 1 and I've only played around 1500 total. The only one I would have time for is super expert endless, but I don't have the skill for that :/

To get the fancy top hat you need to literally be number two in the world on a leaderboard.

Quick disclaimer: To unlock the robot set, you have to complete all jobs as mario. This means that you don’t use Luigi at all. You can tell what job you used Luigi because the flag will be green with an l to the left. Just re do the job as mario and you will be good

@@the7thbeatle85 Maybe there's a few you missed, if you don't see "Super Mario Bros. W1-1?" on your quest list. I'd try either investigating the Dry Bones Shell (that was something I missed the first time around), making sure the Builder Mario's fully built, talking to Course Bot, firing the cannons on the castle, re-doing anything you used Luigi's assistance for without said assistiance, and just making sure every Story Course has been beaten. If you've done every single one of those things, yet you still don't have the parts, I'm not sure there's much I can do at that point.

This system needs a complete overhaul. Unlocking costumes should not be this hard. How are you supposed to express yourself when there are barely any clothes and a lot of them are impossible to unlock for some people? My suggestions: 1. Import clothes from Miitomo. 2. Add the ability to customize colors. Maybe add your own emblem to your clothes, like in Mario Kart DS?

Just skip until you get an easy enough course that you feel you're comfortable enough with. Courses with fewer plays have a *slight* chance of being easier. And if nobody has cleared the course, skip. Trust me, I'm already at a high score of 1, and I still have 30 lives from just skipping.

If you have a friend with a Switch and Mario Maker, you might try playing Versus Mode at a time when not many people play, and your friend let's you win 10 times to get it.
