Hello. I just want to ask if the IMEI starts with 99 is it really negative to open line to other network? I'm located at the phil and the phone came from US. Here in Australia we can get any iPhone on a contract unlocked without a fee by using an app or phoning the provider and it will be unlocked with in 24 to 48 hours. The iPhones from the Apple store come unlocked from the factory. That with all iPhones.

BTW. In the U.S. you can use Straight talk. it comes with the SIM cards for all service. Verizon, AT&T, T-mobile.. Is $50 for 10gigs of 4gLTE. I have it on my iphone 5s.

if you are going to buy an iPhone in the USA, you are stuck with a monthly plan from a provider. this is only for people who already has an iPhone & travels to a country where at&t is not a carrier. this way you can still use the iPhone by simply inserting a local carrier sim.

just a question. I am from belgium and lets say I plan to buy an iphone when i visit usa soon. lets say the one from 199$ with an at&t pack. in essence, when i buy such a adapter card, i can use any provider? in my case its called base. but still you are hooked to the at&t provider and have to pay a monthly fee?My apologies if this obvious or a stupid question. Yes. The iphone is jailbroken. all iphone 4s come wirh siri so what do you mean it wasnt there already? I usef a winterboard theme called neurotech to change the look of siri.

when you unlock the iPhone, you can use ANY sim on it. You just need to swap them around. if you need to use at&t, just put the sim in, if you want to use globe, take out the other sim & put the globe one in. about texting to the philippines, i think its gonna cost you a lot to do that. i suggest using the iMessage or text now app

i already show how to use other sim aside from at&t. i just use a Tmobile some but it could be ANY sim. however, i don't know if you can text to the philippines because i never tried it. I think it's gonna cost a lot if you're using a local sim in the philippines

@Slimy Person why would you take the sim card out multiple times? You only put one (foreign) sim card in so you can use it & once you leave the country, put the original at&t sim back
