You're supposed to call your own phone number to set up your voicemail you probably won't get visual voicemail because it's only available for certain carriers not all carriers

Thank you so much for the video. Followed all the steps for my iPhone 4s (Verizon) and it finally pulled through, after so many failed attempts of other videos (that I went through) that failed to mention adding Furiousmods to cydia, because that seem to have done it for my phone. I initially did not receive the Reset Sim, so I was a little worried and did not receive the code this video was talking about, but it turns out I didn’t have to use either. Once again, Thank You.

@sriram seshadri yes, unfortunately a factory unlock for a cdma 4s it's like $130 and the gsm service will only work outside of the US.

@PhoPhuckLie Yes it will unlock your iPhone 4S on iOS 5.1 firmware 2.0.10 Sprint but for sprint (WCDMA) you must be jailbroken and there's currently no jailbreak for iOS 5.1 yet stay tune I'll have a video as soon as the jailbreak for ios 5.1 it's released. And then you will be able to unlock your Sprint iPhone in iOS 5.1 to use with AT&T with this video tutorial

@sayyes1000 As a matter of fact my Verizon iPhone has a bad ESN and it's working perfectly fine so yes it works even if you had a bad ESN but only for all other carriers not for the carrier that iphone 4s has the bad ESN report on [for example if you have a Verizon iPhone 4s with a bad ESN on Verizon it works on all other carriers except Verizon] I hope this answers your question

Do you have an instructional video to unlocking IOS 6 on a Verizon iPhone 4s? I'm trying to use my iphone while I'm in Guam and Japan over the next several months. Verizon said they unlocked the phone, but it does not work as the iphone will not recognize the GTA Teleguam sim when I put it in--says "SIM NOT RECOGNIZED." I think they're GSM and Verizon is CDMA so could that be the problem?

Bob_beltran_II you cant put it on metro even if you get a metro sim card. Metro uses a sim only for 4g. Just like verizon and sprint dont use sims, its only there for world travel

Hi there. Followed your instructions (great video by the way), and still my verizon iphone 5.1.1 firmware 2.0.12 still says SIM not valid. I did get my code though, inserted but it comes and says SIM not valid. Is there anything else I should do? If I pass by the activation stage, it says it is now an AT&T phone, so theoretically is unlocked now but cannot read the SIM. Please help! Thanks!

Wow the video is very informative! I have a problem.. I don't kno if i have installed 2 much from cydia but, when i put in a non official sim it no longer locks back down i just get a message stating that activation was unsuccessful. So it then says that if this problem persists that i should call verizon. Whiles I'm following the steps it used to change the carrier to vl ____ whatever but now it just goes to verizon 11.3, also i hardly ever get the unlock message part.

A iPhone 4 doesn't no, you cant use it on a iPhone 4, the iPhone 4S does have a sim slot on the right side, you can use this on the 4S.
