Im so confused because I’ve been trying to do this challenge for 2 days now. I have all the playful and familiar items but every time I snap the photo it says “it contains too much magic”, but I have no customized items present and I changed everything in my house just in case magic was present so im just super confused at this point

That's so weird. Is your character wearing anything touch of magic? that happens alot. There may also be a button to hide all touch of magic things now that could help but it won't take that away. And it is indoors? This is so common outside because anything outside behind the camera- even in the next biome or daisy's shop sets it off.

The ZR dream snaps button is not on my camera after placing the furniture? 😢 any advice to what I’m doing wrong ? Thanks

I remember there was something with the button not appearing but not exactly what. I think the most common thing is make sure you take the picture first, then after you take the picture, you have the option to press the dreamsnaps button, but it's only after taking the picture so you see the static picture, NOT when in camera mode. Every now and then I forgot and wonder where it went. If it is not that, it may depend on at which point like with her quest vs regular dreamsnaps. During her quest, make sure you are tracking it. trying un tracking, tracking, see if it works one way or the other. For regular dreamsnaps, if you are on console, you likely need to have the online service for the platform (nintendo switch online, etc.) and be connected to the internet (and the game recognize you are connected, ddv is kind of known for dropping that connection). And you need to have said yes after her quest to opt in to dreamsnaps. And then you should have the tab in events and have the button come up when take a picture. You can hide the info on the photo screen after taking a picture and then button won't show and may not work, so you need to turn that back on. And then there is always restarting the game because DDV is DDV and sometimes a restart fixes things for no reason.

the energy bar increases as you level up, so mine is max level. It makes it much easier
