Okay it worked when I used odin 3.07 (previous old) instead. When I used the newer 3 1.85, after the Green pass it got stuck in the samsung logo. I unplugged the cable and re-did everything and no stuck. I left F. reset time checked (greyed out for me, can't uncheck regardless) and it did the trick! I used the stock firmware which he provided in the description. Just make an account and make sure you download the correct version. In my case, gt-n8013 (usa) wifi only. I spent over 8 hours searching all over the internet and this is the real deal THANKS AGAIN! Note: I had the firmware interruption issue please connect to kies" message.

Some info for anyone trying to flash a custom rom or recovery. In some roms there is a .img file typically named boot.img or start.img. If you convert it to a md5 and use odin to flash it via download mode your device will not boot fully. It will only have a bootloader and no os to boot into. Flashing custom roms needs to be done through a custom recovery and typically requires a sd card (or atleast is much simpler with one).

I know this video is old but this still works (writing this in March of 2016)you just have to make sure that A) You have the latest version of Odin and B) Under options in Odin you only have auto Reboot and F. Rest Time checked C) On your device go settings>general>developer options and check off USB debugging

Hi i have an n8010 in bootloop with only odin option available , and tried all the drain unplug battery, then all odin and stoke firmware for JB and KK and also pit file options but although odin passed every single flash... my samsung is still caught and wont boot pasted the samsung note 10.1 screen and no factory reset recovery mode or option still.....so are there any other options or recovery tollboxs / processes that might work and what are the links.. thanks as it is tough when everything passes positive in odin but still stuck

Huge problem, need help. GT-N8013 16gb. was running custom rom, one day it reboot itself, now stuck in bootloop. Cant get into twrp. Pwr+Vol Up..let go pwr while holding VolUp at boot logo. Twrp screen pop up, then went into Reboot, then bootloop. i can put the tablet in Download mode, but Odin FAIL to flash any stock firmware. Tried everything. Nothing will Flash in Odin. driver up to date, Odin show Com Port #. md5 checked out in Odin. Click Start, it'll run then immediately FAIL pop up in Odin.. is my tablet dead for good? tried flashing stock recovery, FAIL. tried flashing PIT, FAIL.. i'm stuck.

Problem: GT-N8010 Wifi, It keep showing "Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1" logo with black background. [When I hold the off button, it went back turn on by it self with same logo, not rebooting/restarting, also it keep failing to go into system recovery, only showing the android with red triangle then it turn off back again then showing the logo again. Until I turn it off, then I plug power cable to charge the battery then it stop afterwards, even after the battery 100% the screen is off, however when I turn it on again, still same problem]. Solution: I tried your method to restore the stock firmware and root it back again with CWM, still having the same problem, even though when I used Odin, it give me a "Pass!" all the time, never fail. Any other solution to my problem??? History of used: 2years more or less since 2013. Last action when my tablet went to complete black screen then keep showing the logo, is when I click on "end task all" in the lower menu beside the screenshot touch button. Last week 10 May 2015. It was rooted with "Wondershare MobileGo for Android" PC desktop software for a year at the very least.

Hello all I have permanently on SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE 10.1 Screen. Bruno Porro I was able to fix mine actually. The problem is this is an old version of Odin. All the links are rather old. There is a program called SkipSoft Android Toolkit or Unified Toolkit. It supports Nexus devices from Galaxy (3) to 5 and the 7 and 10 tablets. They also added in the Samsung S series from 3 to 5, plus notes 2, 3, 8.0 and 10.1. I used the 10.1 and it auto installs the most up to date version of Odin. Followed its steps (somewhat the same as here) and boom, it worked fine.

Lol it didn't work the first time, so the workaround is to factory reset. Make sure to back up all your files! P.S.- Triangle Away requires root.
