You have a great way of breaking the technic down, the narration and slow mo is on point, great editing. I will be watching this a few times over lol

Could never get the confidence to learn up to fronts. Was always scared that I'd just plough into the obstacle face first. Keen to learn now.
@PeepMeRide5 жыл бұрын
Excellent tutorial Ali! My goal I set when I first started doing trials is to be able up-to-fronts! I have a long ways to go but I'm chipping away at it little by little. There is tons of info here. It will take me awhile to get through it all!

So, seems I'll need to become a Patreon patron of yours now. The quality of your how-tos is just perfect! Your previous video inspired me to finally tackle the dreaded kick-hops. Which I just this week have learned! After just 22 years of BMX and MTB riding ;-D.

Such a good quality tutorial!! Ali, keep these videos coming, they’re a joy to watch. I listened to your HKT podcast interview earlier at work and could relate to so much of what you said having grown up riding trials through the same eras you mentioned. It was particularly good to hear you mention the trials kings videos of old!! I remember me and my mates watching them religiously before heading out riding. Keep up the vlogs dude, I for one love them

Excellent tutorial! I wish you uploaded this tutorial a few days earlier as wheel swap was my goal for a long time and I learned it on my own. I focused on it in the last 2 sessions and mastered in 60 minutes in total on a small curb. You can see all my attempts on the video I uploaded. I found doing higher endo and leaning more over the bar to help with the roll. Approaching the obstacle at a slight angle shortens the distance that the rear wheel has to travel. Still trying to learn the nose pick from pedal up. I just can't master landing on the front wheel on low obstacles. That's probably why I struggle with sidehops to both wheels too. If you could do a tutorial on this topic it would be awesome.

Learning to do this on flat ground was a pretty harsh dose of what I think I'm doing vs what I'm actually doing. Suspension bikes will say "hey your body mechanics are passable maybe buy some new parts if you're having trouble." Trials is more like "Let's be honest here....also there's no shopping your way out of this sorry."
