Hi - thanks, but you missed out a very important step. Set the camera to "P" mode because if on "AUTO" the "firmware" item in menu TOOLS 5 will not appear 🙂

Hi there, Thats not one I'm familier with, good to know if others what to check this, before updating. You can also update the firmware on the RF lenses, so guess its to stop any confusion.

UPDATE. If your using a new mac. It may mount the Canon Drive on you desktop. When you double click to unpackage the downloaded file. Just click on desktop Canon drive and your FIR file will be in this folder.
