Mine also took 3 hours to update then said finished update but then won’t stay version 3 stays at 1 even after I restarted the truck.

What did you do after it stayed version 1.0? I️ have tried to get it to download but it keeps saying version 1.0 like your video did originally

it changed to version 3.0 after the update

My 2016 F150 does not have navigation on it. After updating to version 3.0x will I have navigation?

no for that u need to install a navigation unit. the update is just to fix bug issues in the software

not necessarily u can use any usb just make sure before using it format it to exfat and it should work

How long it took? I have a 2016 expedition and tried for over an hour and it never finished... I got impatient and turned off my car and went to sleep. Any advice? Thanks

IT TOOK ME LESS THAN 30MIN TO PROGRAM THEM. U GOTTA MAKE SURE U DONT HAVE PHONES INSIDE THE CAR OR MAYBE THE KEY IS NOT GOOD. IT MUST BE NEW. "VIRGIN"

I went through the process and followed the directions exactly. It took my car over 3 hours to update. Not sure why. But when it got to the end and said installation complete. It worked! One thing none of the KZbinr's never mentioned was that the screen gives an alert saying that the USB is not compatible. Even though it all still works. My guess is because i got the parts from Amazon and not from Ford. Wish they would have made that clear BEFORE i purchased the part!

It took you 27 minutes and I've been sitting with the update message for 2 hours. I did everything step by step and it won't update.

Some take really long time. Just be patient and it will complete. Or if u feel it takes longer just restart. I had the same issue with one once and I just restarted the whole process and it worked out at the end.

@@JVFIXLLC I ended up just giving up and went inside with the truck off. Came out several hours later to leave and it was updated. I just left the USB stick in. I've been trying to update to 3.4 but when I try to download the stuff to USB stick it fails everytime so that's what I'm currently working on.

This cars like the usb 2.0 and not the new USBs I had problems aswell and I used an older usb and it worked better.

Mm that's odd it should work cause that data base is for all the fords in the world maybe u missed a letter or #

U can get a usb and just follow the steps I did on the video. It's free to update it.
