How to update Xbox One Offline

If you want to update your Xbox One without connecting it to the internet, then this video is for you.
This method is useful if you have set your console as Home Xbox for some accounts that have games on it, and you don't want to lose offline gaming by updating the console online. As we all know, when someone set another console as their new Home Xbox, then all accounts on the previous console don't have the ability to play those games offline when the console reconnected to the internet. The only trick to do it is by logging the game holder account back. Remember the principal of Xbox One Gameshare.
This method also works great for games that need to run on higher console firmware such as Gears of War 4 and so on.
And if you have a slow internet connection and lazy to wait for the system update online, then you just download the update file from somewhere else, then perform the update when you are ready.
All you need have is a USB flash drive with minimal 4GB of space, and then follow the guide.

Even with a flash drive xbox website states you'll still need internet for part of it. So it doesn't make sense to even try to me. However I did before reading that line and got error code. And was left on the screen that says restart, USB, reset. I pressed restart and got sent to a screen saying preparing. Once it was done my accounts and games were deleted and apparently reset on its own. Better to wait to update a small download, than to try this and risk having to redownload every game you own.

Obi-Wan Kenobi this is my last hope. I have black screen on startup, no chirp noise from starting xbox, I leave it on and 20 mins later a screen pops up, reboot or format xbox with games etc or without. I am now trying this recovery with it,but it still doesn't do the start noise. EDIT I had it off for over 30 seconds, it made the chirp noise but not the second and third, I will now leave it on until the error screen pops up.

Alright so I'm kinda just asking for help, but recently i had a bad hdd. I've replaced it, but I'm confused on what to do. There error codes were E106, then i changed the bad hdd for a better one, then it said E105. After restarting, It said E102. Does this mean I have to do an offline update, or another problem? I assume this means cuz i replaced the hard drive, the xbox... info... isint on the new hard drive. I'm still confused tho.

Hopefully you're still reading the comments, the site says if my version is on a list, then I have to install OSU1 only, mine isn't on the list and it says I have to install OSU2 and OSU3, both are 8gb combined meanwhile OSU1 is 4.8GB, do I have to install OSU2+3?

I don't hear a second chime, but if I leave the console running for a few more minutes the troubleshoot screen comes up (regardless if I hold the bind and eject buttons). But then the update option is grayed out and I can't update it.
