Man I had these. for a about a year and let me tell you.. the adhesive eventually stops adhering to the pillar through time. After a bit of a time, the glue stops adhering from the corners and the wind from driving the car slowly pulls the pillar off. The worst part is that the adhesive is a pain to remove after removing the pillars. It took me a total of 1-2 hours of FULLY removing he adhesive with goo-gone. After this, I wrapped my pillar instead with 3m gloss wrap and the install was quick and I am sure that the removal is quick as well without leaving any residue. I would stay away from this because it will stop adhering through time. First by the corners, and then the piece by piece as it cracks. I even used a heat gun to install it and still failed

This is the 2nd set I'm on about 3 years in and no issues thus far (aside from the gunk which IS a pain to remove). Proper cleaning before application, and maybe even adding heat before sticking on will ensure they stick on better. Applying firm pressure thoroughly when applying on as well should help with the corners from coming off. I've not experienced that on either of the 2 sets. A wrap sounds like a good alternative if o e could get it for a reasonable price

I don't know. I'm not crazy about glossy pillars. I think pillar trims are rubberized with metal on the inside of them. What I do is use UV Rubber protector. It keeps the trim pieces looking great and giving it protection from the sun.

Good point. I like the look because it looks like glass since my windows are tinted dark
