As a matter of fact, living ships weapons are THE worst in the game, with the worst stats. The upgrades are hard to get to, compared with normal ships, the inventory expansion is even harder to get, and, cherry on top, you only get 2 meh weapons, with crap stats. Sad, since the living ships have the best aesthetics, they look very cool, but the game dvs screw all up with the weapons and maneuverability. You cannot use sentinels upgrades nor illegal upgrades, the salt and pepper of best upgrades... So , why to use them ? Worst maneuverability, jump range good, indeed, but that is the only good thing - weapons sucks, inventory is small, the planetary speed is the worst in game, shield crap, only the good-looking in their favor... Please, NMS devs, show some love to the living ships, as they are now they suck, is unfinished work...

if the system you've named q ball first wave exotic ship then unfortunately they have updated it changed and it's a different space station different to the one you showed on video it's one of those broken space stations. The living ships was a great idea, but honestly they are looks, no additional storage sacks without glitching the game, such a fail. HG should revisit this and allow expansion updates and more options to grow.

An easy way to upgrade storage is to have your living ship as your active ship when upgrading your freighter storage .. for every freighter storage upgrade you get a living ship storage upgrade as well so long as you have the LS as your active ship

You should get it right away it’s one of the most common that I got that’s really a random pool I guess keep trying also you can see in the video all the mods I got from there so you can know the ones you can get from that system good luck 👍

I soon found out it was pulling the void eggs from my freighter which was in a different system. I had to move them to a storage container. Anyone experience this before?

For now you can’t upgrade your living ship slots unless you try some multiplayer glitches that idk of still works I will check that subject

A trick for the inventory I saw in the comments of another living ship vid that I have not had a chance to try yet (Haven't gotten the ship yet). Supposedly, if the living ship is your active ship, every time you upgrade your freighter inventory via the bulkheads it also upgrades the inventory space on your living ship. Maybe Q Ball can check that out for us? :D

Funny enough you can get to the centre in 2 jumps by having max ly jump range, finding a portal and adding 16 jellyfish glyphs then it will take you super close, just jump to the core then

SO, I have sped around this system as Q-Ball said for a few hours and have gotten LOTS of upgrade module. However, they seem to all spawn in the same general classes. an S or A class for the eye ball upgrade, an A or B for the spewer thingy, B for the shield, and C for the last three items.. and it never varies. Has anyone received different classes or do they only come one way?

That’s how it goes for every system with upgrades for a living ship although mine gives 3 every reload that is a huge difference

You can open psychonic eggs for instant living ship upgrades. You get them very rarely for sending living frigates on expeditions i think. Or you can have another player give you a few and duplicate them. I donno if the drop rates are different for the upgrades from the psyconic egg item vs the pulse event but i did very... very.... VERY rarely get a B class heart and a B class hyperdrive. It seems possible to get A or S class off the bat but it must be abysmally rare. Something like .00005%

You cannot upgrade the storage on living ships because it supposed to count as a living being in the past there was a glitch players used for expending the slots but it’s not working anymore since the last update I’ll check around to see if there’s a new method for that and drop a video if I will find something so don’t miss out turn on all notifications 👍

Before you begin the grind: Make sure to bring plenty of gold/silver to recharge to pulse engine, (Pulsing Heart) and some oxygen to recharge the Neural Assembly. You don't need to pulse to the planets, just pulse out into open space until you get all three. It may take you 1-2 minutes to get back to a planet to do a game save and reload. You will need Pugneum to recharge the shields from pirate attacks and there will be pirate attacks. Don't have any contraband in your inventory because you will get System Authority scans. Build a base you can portal to in the future because you will get bored doing this. The base will give you an easy way to get back and grind again. You may want to apply the C class upgrades to help reduce the amount of resources you use. You can always dismantle them later.
