How to Fully Upgrade your Living Ship in No Man's Sky

In today's video we will be taking a look at fully upgrading a Living Ship in No Man's Sky.
I will be showing you three set-ups: a perfect Black Hole/Centre of the Galaxy jumper & one with a little bit more punch to its weaponry.
And finally a full bouble set-up for maximum power.

have the living ship , go to you newley got capital ship, upgrade your capital ships cargo inventory whit cargo builkhead and your living ship get more inventory slots at same time :D have fun, no i didnt read all comments, to much for me lol

I've been pulsing and pulsing many, many minutes and nothing. So I changed the system, started pulsing, again nothing.... :( In this rate, I will need hours to get a dozen of random upgrades. I guess I will try the system you pointed, because at the moment the ship is a fighting disaster. EDIT: I checked your system and after ca. 20 minutes, I found 1C upgrade... I came across other weird phenomenons that I never encountered before, usually once per 2-5 minutes. So if the egg has only some chance to spawn among others, I would need to play weeks to get some usable upgrades. Probably upgrade spawing was nerfed. I think the mechanics is broken, because at the moment we have no control, only game of chance, which is not fun. I spend total an hour to find 1 upgrade, most of that time just waiting and waiting through pulse journey. Boring as hell. In that case, living ship will become only a trophy in my cargo and not something I can use. If I got it on the beginning of the game, maybe there would be a point but now? Still, the video helps, because the game doesn't explain how it is done.

After finally getting one I can see why. The fact that you can't upgrade storage slots alone makes it bad. Its easy enough to have the necessary materials to fix damaged equipment from a black hole. The hyperdrive range is always trumped by a good freighter. It looks cool though.

@MANOFGOD9000 Hyperdrive is definitely beaten by Freighters, though that is only since the Desolation update. I do like that for Galaxy jumping I just need to fill it up with Chromatic Metal and I do prefer it over having a 'beater ship' for this purpose. I really hope HG will find a use for the Living Ships in future content as I have the feeling that they rendered it a bit useless by making other things so powerful.

So the number of storage slots I’m guessing varies on the living ship? Cause a few of the slots you have I don’t and I can’t upgrade storage aug at space station

You do that with Freighter Bulkheads. BUY or be given a freighter, one that needs lots of upgrading. DO the derelict freighter 'jobs', using the 'green beacon locators' you can get from space station scrap dealers OR from the OLD guy that never goes out at the Space Anomaly. Having memory issues tonight, sorry. I am an OLD guy too.

@@technoviking2415 I think he's talking about a glitch. I think if you have a living ship as your active ship and add storage modules to your freighter it will also add storage slots to the living ship. I don't know if that's the exact process but I've seen it explained that way.

You can upgrade the living ship slots to 48/48.

Did they do away with this? Just tried to hatch an egg that I had sitting around. Went to the proper system and warped about for almost an hour. Thought "maybe it's because I'm already in a living ship", got in a different ship. Still nothing. Also there's these new things called psychonic eggs that seem to be where you get the upgrades now. Haven't tried to warp about for the upgrades, though. Maybe I'll check that out later.

@@Gnarkkotik_TTV more or less the same here but wait 24 hours is still a time wasting/stupid mechanic and its not just 1 time in the bloody quest and then go pulse speed in some random place for no other reason than perhaps something will pop up its just a lazy way to drag things out :) why not make something like scanners or maps for a little treasure hunt :)

If you use his medium refiner and large refiner dup method then all you need is one of each module types and then you just dupe them
