Also what l did find out. You do not need to Record Manually. Have everything set to record 4K and capture the latest recording. The important part is the ShareFactory part set to highest as he said.

It takes about a day or 2 for youtube to add the HDR into the video. The 4k happens within the same day

set your PlayStation to upload in 4K then you have to manually start and stop your recording and either have it automatically upload or manually upload it. It will only stay in your captures for 14 days you have to upload before don't share factory no matter what you do it's gonna upload in 1080 P or a lower resolution.

That setting in sharefactory was the only one that I was missing however when I uploaded a video after changing that setting it was still at 1080p on youtube. Not sure what I am missing still.

I just found your video and man is this helpful! The only problem I seem to be having is that when I go to the Export Settings, every time I clicked the high res option, it doesn't want to stay on that option. It goes back to the first one every time I go and check.

Well it depends where you play it on, if your on phone it doesn’t work but on pc or maybe tablet it’ll show good quality

Tbh I’ve been uploading gameplays 1080p quality from my PS5 I just set the filters up to give it some color, funny thing I’ve never used 4K on PS5 yesterday I did buh when I uploaded 4k gameplay from share factory, then uploaded it to KZbin the quality is low like the color is not deep if I edit it with filters still in 4k comes out looking grayish idk why.

I don't know what happens but my PS5 doesn't record 4K HDR anymore, only 4K 60fps in SDR, I tried to desactivate VRR, ALLM and 120hz, also I tried to keep always HDR activate but still doesn't work and it was working years ago, I don't know if Sony has disabled the option.
