@@StrapAnuva1 yeah bro exactly the same. If you’ve deleted an activity off of Strava in the past you still can reupload it! Providing you never deleted it off your watch or the garmin app. Just follow the EXACT same process as the video, just locate the date in which you did your activity and that’s the file you need to upload. Easy as 😁😁😁😁

This happened to me on Saturdays ParkRun and it was my best run of the year so far so this video solved the problem and it’s now uploaded onto Strava 👍🏼 Was frustrating but I’m glad I now know how to solve this

@@bayleymassey managed to knock (15 seconds off ) so my 5k park run time is now 20:38. That’s why I was so frustrated that of all my runs this one never went onto Strava 😀 until I see this video obviously and it was a game changer

@@bayleymassey Do you know how to do it the opposite way? I have rides in Strava (from Rouvy) that don’t show up in Garmin Connect. Which messes up my training metrics.

@@rogerc23 hey roger my man! almost the same exact way :) So log onto strava (ON PC) and on the left hand side you should see 3 dots, select that and it should show "export GPX" Simply click that and save it to your desktop (or anywhere you will remember. Then log into Garmin connect (On pc) and in the upper right hand side it should show an image of an arrow going into a cloud. click that and select 'import data'. Then inside the box diagram, click anywhere and select the file you just downloaded and saved. It should then be fixed :) LET ME KNOW BRO!!

@@bayleymassey Yes it works. Thanks. Only one thing to add to your comment is it imports as an unclassified activity. So I had to go and edit it and change it to a Cycling activity and now it shows up proper in my Garmin stats. Thanks mate.

Garmin Connect has both rides, so do you know how I can transfer a file from Garmin Connect to Strava? To my knowledge there's not really a way man. Maybe just maybe.... if you open Google and change it to desktop version on your phone you may be able to do it that way! Will just be a bit of a pain due to the desktop view on a smartphone sized device.

Should this not automatically happen outside of tech issue like the hack. If its not syncing automatically ever, does every activity have to be manually uploaded. I've followed lots of tips to fix and it has never synced

Hmmm I see what you mean. The only ever issue I have had my self in regards to syncing is the one shown in the video. The only thing that I can say (from experience) is either doing it manually or disconnecting Garmin to Strava or Strava to Garmin on the apps and reconnecting it. Sorry i can’t help bro :(

hey boss! it should work yeah! essentially all you are doing is uploading to your computer and just moving that file on to the garmin server. Will be very surprised if it doesnt work! Let us know if it did work though!!!

Hmmm interesting man. So a few things. Are you saying that you somehow use Strava to record your run rather than Garmin? or is it just generic connection problem from garmin to strava? I ask because when i run i typically just connect to GPS then when i finish my run it syncs to garmin connect on my phone via bluetooth and then Strava automatically shows that run after. Are you doing something different.

Ah nice man! Well i think the best shoe for optimal racing would be the nike 4%. I say this as its most probably the bestt shoe when it comes to giving you that edge and at a reason price. I wouldnt go as far as using the next% or the alpha fly - id leave that to top end runners. If however thats slightly out of your budget (as it is quite expensive) then i would suggest maybe the adidas adizero pros. About 100$/£ cheaper, light weight, good cushioning and a carbon plate to give you that edge!

Sadly man if you've deleted it from the device on which you was being tracked from, it can't be recovered. However if (for example) you ran a 5k with your gaming watch.... it uploaded to strava, and then u delete the run off strava, then this video is perfect to recover it. However if your scenario doesn't sound similar to this one&; you won't be able to recover it :(
