Thanks! Yeah it's been awhile since I've done a video with my voice. But yeah people get intimidated by 86Box's interface and I tell them it's actually not that difficult, but they end up sticking with PCem. So it's about time I finally did a tutorial on this. Thanks for watching!

Depends. Are you asking because I didn't upload for one week or because of when I was gone for a year? These past two weeks and the next two are busy so that's why. As for why I was gone for one year, I was because I was busy with College and I didn't have the interest to really upload because of other things going on.

@@squareyboi No, there's PLENTY of builds to cover and I'll never have any content to run out of if I just do that. In fact, there are so many that I won't be able to cover them all. Even if I uploaded once a week of a new build video, at that rate I'd be dead before I could cover them all. But I would also like to do other things too, like tutorials or something different every once in awhile.

10:00 - I keep getting a message reading "DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER". I'm pretty sure I did everything just like you did though.

Start all over again and use the same specs as I do (except set memory to 128 mb instead of the 8mb that I did by mistake). There must be something you did wrong as I've never encountered this issue. Make sure you are also not removing the MS-DOS boot disk. Also make sure the boot order is set right. In this video I used the Windows95b.img boot floppy so if you are not using that, then you should try using it: www.allbootdisks.com/download/95.html

@@AoKa1e Something must have went wrong with either the file you are using or you didn't insert a file. There should be no such error if you followed when I did precisely. Try downloading your files from a different source if it keeps occurring as corrupt files will do this. Also there is a reason why I did a boot floppy because the .ISO image is not supposed to be booted from.

hi. the video skips over where you added a hard disk. i can see the path you took. but didn't explain which one you downloaded or are using. unless I'm missing something I should have known before watching this video,it is not explained during this video. @@jordanowen2056 I understand your point and it's valid. I skipped over it mostly to protect my privacy. I don't like showing my explorer window and skip it out completely just to be on the extremely cautious side in case if I were to forget to censor out private info that may show. Personally, I don't plan on editing the video since it's out and most people don't seem to have this particular issue (no offense intended, I 100% get it if you're new).

It depends on what you are asking about. What software? 86Box 100% all the way. I tell people to stop using PCem since it's not being updated anymore and doesn't emulate as well. What settings you mean? Check out the Windows 95 build videos I did (see the playlists for all of the builds I covered) and I mention in the description what specs I used to get them running. In all of the newest videos I use 86Box and not PCem anymore.

Hey , i'm setting up a Windows 95 VM on 86Box and when i click for new hard disk it's asking me for FIle Name and i click ''Specify..'' and it's not showing me a vhd file on the dowloads , where should i find the VHD file?!

You have to do what I did and create the .vhd file. Pay close attention to what I do and make sure you are careful where you are putting the vhd file in. And the vhd file may not show up until you click "Ok"

When did you upgrade your main monitor to 1440p

How did you know? Lol. Both are actually 1440p @165hz (LG 27GP83B-B). Both are the same exact model. The first monitor was upgraded in August 2022 where I paid $374 for it and the second monitor was upgraded to the same exact model in November 2022 for $299 on Black Friday. My buddy got lucky and recently bought it for $250. Great monitor, I love it!

@@Icelord-rx6om Odd. I've never had that before. Be sure you downloaded the programs from the same source I did. If it persists, you should be able to go to the exe files of 86Box manager and 86Box (different folders), right click and click properties and there may be a box you can check to unblock it.

@@theparrisjuray Ah I see you were talking about what the program was saying, not me. There's options right there if you right click the floppy or CD-ROM icons to insert "existing images" or basically .ISO files or floppy disk .img files to install an OS/software, etc. Right there at that marker, I inserted a Windows 95 bootdisk and the Windows 95 install media (I didn't show me browsing just in case if I accidentally show off sensitive info when browsing)

Neither are new. I built my PC in February of 2022 (see specs on the about page of my channel which I've had there ever since February of 2022). But yeah I love it. As for the two 1440p monitors I have, I got them in mid to late 2022 three months apart from each other (same model). I would never want to go back honestly as I have more space to work with and the monitors just look really good compared to my old 1080p monitors which were rather cheap and poor quality. I did have to spend a lot though as these two costed me roughly $675 (I had a deal on the second one on Black Friday 2022) and that doesn't count the third party stands I got for them as the OEM ones weren't doing it for me as they could not go lower and third party stands aren't cheap (under $100 for sure, but yeah)
