Thank you! I'm almost embarrassed to admit I didn't know how to properly hold my beer stein I received from my German friends who live near Wiesbaden! It's a King stein that says Wiesbaden on it. Very nice. Love drinking beer out of it, and now I know how to do so properly! Prost! 🇩🇪

I see a lot of beautiful steins on that shelf! As far as a stein keeping your beer cold I can say from personal experience I wouldn’t know. I’m a raging drunk and my beer gets consumed very fast. 😂

Sounds like you dont need it to be cooled ;)

Great tips! My handle on my stein is narrow. I can only put two fingers through.
@steinsandclocks3 ай бұрын
Yes ;) it allways depends on the handle . Cheers Markus

I've been buying some of these over time. I absolutely love them! Two of them that happen to be my top favorites include a Wolf-themed stein (I absolutely love wolves) and an Ireland/St. Patrick's Day themed one!

Why would you get a headache from holding the stein the “wrong way”? Just curious

I chipped my stein on the bottom, not thru the stein but its knarly. what are my options to patch it? it will be a use stein not display. please advise!
@steinsandclocks Жыл бұрын
In order to refurbish a German beer stein, the stoneware typically needs to undergo a kiln re-firing process. During this restoration process, it becomes necessary to carefully disassemble any metal or pewter components, with subsequent reassembly taking place once the stein has cooled down.

@@steinsandclocks thank you for the information. I didn't see a method to buy German clay, if I was able to acquire some would it be as simple as patch the affected area, refire it, paint, refire again?
@steinsandclocks Жыл бұрын
Just like i wrote above. It is a lot of effort to fix it the right way.
