Really glad I've found these videos. Best I've ever seen for direct details. In terms of making sure she's hungry to come to the glove do you skip feeding the night before this kind of activity? Also do you have to be careful not to give her too much so she's not full before you've stopped?

Hi thanks and yeah like any animal there is only so much they can eat but when I fly birds they only get a little bit of there food for flying and get the rest when they get back to there enclosure, also I don't not feed them the night before instead I feed at the same time of day every day and this means there hungry at that time every day

@@lifeofgazfishing1873 more genius, love it. I had a falconer friend help me with my first barn owl but hadn't had much experience prior as I rescued him from a guy who was keeping him in a budgie cage in his kitchen. Had all sorts of animals and birds all my life and rescued a lot of them but never a raptor before that. After him I got my bengal as a chick and so I'm still learning. Would love to see more of these videos, you have a way of putting it that's a lot more straightforward and easy to get than any of the others I've seen. Also love to see your aviary set up. I'm building a bigger aviary for my girl this summer and still planning it. Thanks again for the info 👏

@@tribex11 hia IV got a video going on this month about flying weights and body condition score. I my enclosure is 10 feet by 8 feet by 7 feet tall, all natural perching from thick to thin don't have any swinging perches like I do for hawks and falcons but owls don't seam to use them as much, I have a open bottom box for shelter and a shelf as a rest area the enclosure is roofed for about 7 feet and open mesh for the last 3 foot so he an go out to the sun and rain if he wants to that's my set up hope that's some help
