i just brought a 8 months old eagle owl 5days ago and he's an wild owl and hacted or raised by any other human. Can u give me tips to how i can make attachment with my owl and be his friend ? he eats by my hand also yesterday when my frd picks him up he starts making baby owl cheering voices by looking at me :)

Yeah just keep hand feeding him and let him come to you rather than you going into his personal space and he should start getting a good reinforcement history and start seeking you out works for me

How did you train him/her to sit still while you put them on. My girl is an imprint and will come to the glove etc no problem but every time I try to go near the anklets she flies off around her aviary. Still trying to figure out how to get her to let me put the jesses in the hole without having to hold her first. Like the glove idea though👍

Thanks and when I start with a new bird I they don't always let you but in time you can build up to it and it's not to hard to do I start by touching the feet first with one hand and feed with the other, after a week or so I start giving a longer gape between the touch and the feed untill I don't need to feed at all that works for me 🦉
