Out of curiosity, how often do you fertilise with amendments? Is it once a year? Or after every crop you pull out? Thank you! Your videos are very informative!

I just started watching your videos alot. Are you a organic farmer? And if so what fertilizer do you use or buy from. Thanks.

We are Certified Naturally Grown. We use Naturesafe 8-5-5 due to my soil condition. I source it out of KC from a landscape supplier. Advanced turf solutions. They are nation wide wholesaler if you have one close.

Naturesafe doesnt distribute to my state sadly, straight up asked them. They dont meet regulations apparently. @@farmerkeith

Biggest issue for me has been figuring out how to spread broadcasted fertilizer below grapevines in a straight row without it getting spread far outside the furrow because it doesnt do any benefit the surface roots in top 4-5 inches that access fertilizer are close to the vine maybe max of 12 inches out then they have a deep taproot. Been trying a bunch of handheld spreaders and doing it manually and just trying to reduce workload to spread it.

That's tough. Measured size container of organic fertilizer thrown at the base of each vine.

Im probably going to do that as its like 1 pound of fertilizer per mature vine or something like that from most fertilizers. So it should be easier to spread it that way just time consuming. @@farmerkeith

Random other quick question since I see that you have grown garlic from your videos My garlic developed rust from the crazy rain we are having in california and I sprayed it with copper fungicide consistently prior to the rain to try and prevent the garlic from getting it in the first place, i removed some infected leaves and tried neem oil as well and cant get the rust under control have you battled rust and if you have do you have any recommendations to save my garlic as I have 800 plants and its way to early to have rust issues and I want to get some kind of harvest. @@farmerkeith

We have been having atmospheric rivers constantly here on the west coast and everything is getting soaked constantly and then it warms up and its like perfect rust conditions and it sucks. I just want to get my garlic out of the ground as soon as its ready. I sprayed azoxystrobin which the local university told me to use for garlic rust and it did kill it so far. I need to apply more fungicide in about 3-7 day's @@farmerkeith
