Thank you for this review. I was really nervous and almost passed up on the GoPro 11 because it was overwhelming. I am not a photo guy, so I don't want to get something I won't appreciate or see as a pain in the a--. Instead, you made me feel like it's a good investment, even for the average guy. Great video! I thought the GoPro was just for videos, didn’t think it worked for still pictures. I will be looking for one on marketplace, hopefully someone’s selling it with the tripod too! Katie, thank you for your video, it was very helpful. Question: I just bought a gopro hero9 and want to take it with me in October to Italy/London & Vienna trip with 3 train rides. I'm 5' 64 and traveling alone this time and wish to use this gopro. MY question for you is how to wear it; is there a clip on way to clip it onto my jack or shirt? I do not want to wear the harness and certainly do not want to mount it on my head. I'm not doing action videos and do not want to draw attention like one would w/a harness (I'll be wearing a jacket/coat given the cold) and wearing it on my head is so out of the question. Is there a way to clip it onto one's coat kind of like how cops wear their camera?

Your trip sounds exciting! Hmm.. I think the only official mounts would be the chest harness or head strap which as you said are a bit bulky. You might be able to find off brand mounts on Amazon, so that could be worth a try. Otherwise I'd get something like the GoPro Shorty (search it here: bit.ly/3ztb5R7 ) and wedge it in your top/tie it to yourself so that it peeps out between the buttons of your coat to be a little more discreet? Even if you used it on the Shorty you could just hold it as you walk - I've done that a million times. That's probably the easiest way. It's small so it's not too crazy looking and also doubles as a selfie stick and tripod so it's super handy for solo travel - I swear by mine! The wrist strap could be another option, but kind of depends on what type of footage you're trying to get. I assume it's your point of view while you're walking around?
