Iv found that popping a few times then letting it sit for a second or two gets hits more consistent then just popping the whole time, and you can pop it with the line loose to get the popping noise, when the line is tight it just throws alittle water in front of the plug without the pop sound

I do best with it when the water is high and the bass are in the brush along the shoreline in the river. I can't seem to catch much on them otherwise.

Another thing that you can do to get some different sound/action from our Pop-R is to change the position of your rod tip when you pop it. With your rod tip high you will get a different blurb sound and movement of water than when your rod tip is lower to the water. Try multiple retrieving styles and speeds to see what the fish are wanting that day. Tight lines! 🎣

Cool cool one of my favorite top water baits, I learned from watching a bass pro (maybe bill dance) back in the day about making it spit water rather than popping it when the bites tough, kinda pull slowly to left or right then at the end speed the pulling up"spit", thanks for the vid

I had screwed up my pb is actually 3.11 but I’ve been catching a lot of 2’s lately that I accidentally went a pound under my girlfriend told me after the video was done and I was like shit 😂
