I am not scolding you for doing this put please do not use wd40 as a lubricant spray..it is alcohol based spray and will dry up and cause your tool to seize over time. It is meant to loosen seized tools/bolts and then apply a lubricant with a silicone base

@CrimeDoesNotPay4 жыл бұрын
Yes, but with a background and cavity check if you live in CA.
@phrostytwitch16034 жыл бұрын
If it was fully auto, i don't believe you would need a bump stock, as the bump stock is meant to make a semi-auto weapon "automatic"?
@themexicansensation26984 жыл бұрын
Phrosty Twitch nope bump stocks don’t make semi automatic weapons automatic bc you still have to press the trigger every time you want to shoot it it basically just makes you shot very fast. If you only had to press the trigger once to shoot multiple then yes it would be automatic.

Thanks Adam. Just a word about lubricating the gun afterwards; WD-40 is not a lubricant (well, initially it is, but not really) but a solvent. When you spray it on anything it actually dissolves any lubricant that was there. Better to use Tri-Flow for lubrication.

I don't recall anymore what caused my father to buy a model similar to this one in the mid-80's. Still works though it's been deep in a box for some decades and needs a good tear down. Even so, I used it earlier today! Maybe after I show it some love it will fully drive with the yellow loads. No matter what, this is so much cheaper and faster than using a hammer drill and tapcons. I really hate them.

Used one of these and after a couple of shots I had police officers swarming my property. That Ramset was loud af. I forgot to call the local police to alert them that I was going to be using a Ramset. My neighbor had identified a suspect she saw shooting a gun. She got egg on her face when it was just me using the Ramset. I apologized to her as I didn’t inform her that I would be using a Ramset. I didn’t use it further, I just used a masonary drill and made holes for concrete anchors which worked out well. PS: Cops just laughed about it and left.

If you’re not strong or have small dainty hands, like a girl & generally have hands & a light touch…. Is this tool going to work? Also, someone told me something about older concrete somehow being not as responsive to these things as newer concrete is. Is it true that I need to be more selective with what tool & maybe even what redheads or nail or screw I shoot in my garage floor being it’s old (built in 1950’s)? What is the difference between older & newer concrete

Quick question. What do you think of the MAXtools high pressure nail gun? Would you make the switch if it meant saving time and money? 200-500psi. Can drive nails up to 5.5inches into steel or concrete. The full system with the high pressure gun and compressor is about $2k last i checked. The main benifit over a ramset is it is continuous. No need to reload on every single nail. No need to buy proprietary blanks and nails. It seems overall a better system. What are your thoughts?
