How to Use Adaptive Cruise Control in the Ford Escape

Steve you make great car videos and helped me and my wife with several car purchases, I was wondering have you ever thought about theft prevention videos especially on my new purchase of a new 2023 dodge hellcat challenger that was still on dealer lot with 12 miles on it .

Not sure if you know this Steve but will that be the same infotainment screen and gauge cluster featured in the 2025 Maverick? I know they are doing a refresh for the new model year of the truck.

The Maverick will have an 8" digital cluster - similar to the current gen Escape and the infotainment will be the exact same 13.2" across all trim levels

The distance also determines the breaking “profile” where 1= aggressive breaking 2/3=normal breaking 4 = relaxed breaking. I notice adaptive cruise doesn’t like to let the car coast down hill in order to keep it at the speed set which is kinda annoying.

Great take on the distance for the brake power too! When I'm driving with adaptive cruise I find it might go 5-10 km/h over the set speed limit but having it brake prematurely is pretty annoying for sure
