How to Use an Exercise Ball for Full Body Strengthening (Full Class)

You don’t need the gym for a full body workout! Exercise balls, often referred to as fitness or stability balls, are a simple way to gain full body strengthening for any level of experience.
Using an exercise ball is a great way to gain strength, stability, and flexibility. The added challenge (and reason why they’re often called stability balls) is to keep your body stable as you work through these exercises. The result? Strong stabilizing muscles, a stronger core, and full body toning overall.

Hey Beraud, thank you for your comment. This happens! It takes practice and muscle engagement to keep the ball stable. Factors like the surface you're practicing on (smooth vs carpet), the size and type of stability ball you're using (some are slightly weighted in the bottom for added stability) can also effect your ability to keep the ball stable. Try and get on with a thicker skin on it and really stiff i have one with a pump purple so it stays still it's great

I know this is an old video but it was the first one that came up so i did it lol. This was my first ever workout with a ball and wow, way more intense then i thought it would be. I was definitely challenged, awesome workout, thank you!

Hey Matthew, sorry I missed this! To answer the first part of your question, try to keep your muscles engaged through all the reps and move with resistance like you're doing this in a pool of honey. If it's still not challenging for you, then yes you can try increasing your reps and slowly working up to more rounds of each exercise. =) Ashton from YogiApproved

Reminder: Some of these same exercises can be done without the exercise ball. You could hold a balloon in your hand.

That's ok! Im sorry if this comes across over the line but can I ask a question out of genuine curiosity? I see that you are quite thin. I find it hard to believe someone who works out regularly could have no muscles bulging out, but the reason for this is that when i work out just a bit, my muscles start to bulge over the course of just a couple months.(i am a woman) I guess this must be a "everyone's body is different" thing? I mean, i do see the muscle on your abs. I just dont see it anywhere else. Perhas its just that your body is different then mine? (From birth kinda thing)

You hit the nail on the head Tiffany -- we're all born with wildly different bodies. Something to keep in mind is that even if we all ate the same foods and followed the exact same workout program, we would STILL all look different. Fun, huh? ❤️
