Hi Ben, trying this with various audio interfaces, we have not experienced any clicks or pops when sampling external sounds via the audio interfaces. I hope this helps!

Thanks for the video. When routing internal Maschine tracks to the mixer using ext 1, 2, so on, are you limited by the number of inputs or outputs on the mixer? E.g. the the model 24 has a 24 in/22 out audio interface. When doing this internal routing, is machine sending the audio through the in or the out when talking to the mixer? Basically I want to make sure I buy the right mixer, and there are many with multiple ins, but few have as many outs as as the Tascam series. Hope this makes sense, thanks.

Will this make it a lot easier to split all the sounds from Maschine + into lets say 16 channels via Tascam and into Logic?

Would it be possible to make a video that demonstrates how multiple devices should be routed into a mixer, then on the Maschine side what inputs and outputs would need to be set in order to have the Maschine+ work as in insert for its effects? I have a model 12 and I have been trying to figure this out, and its that I'm either hearing the synths raw through the mixer, or its only the Maschine playing into channels 1/2 on the mixer. Or if there is a forum post on it does anyone have a link?

Hi Hunter! That's a great request. In the meantime, the steps in this video starting at 2:23 should show you how to set up your MASCHINE+ and your external synthesizers connected into your mixer. Essentially, you have to set a Sound to receive audio from an input on your mixer. You can assign different inputs to different sounds, which will then allow you to process your external gear through the mixer, into the MASCHINE+ for effects and back out to the mixer. I hope this helps!

@@NIsupportEN it does help! Also if anyone reads this has the same problem, I finally got it to multi track by going into the tascam mixers settings and making sure usb audio was set to Multi rather than stero mix. Thank you again NI, you guys kill it with customer support!

Hi, yes it will work with the MK3 too! You just need to configure the Audio settings in MASCHINE software to use your USB mixer.

Hi, this setup will work with any class-compliant external USB mixer. MASCHINE+ supports 16 stereo outs and 4 stereo ins.
