Why do you need to select a pad to receive the audio from the synth?

It is a little complicated but when using any DAW with an external synth you will need to set up a midi channel to send midi to the synth and an audio channel to receive audio from the synth. In this case I used 2 pads to achieve that

My friend, great explanatory video. Hey thanks for the support. Yes you can route the audio into 3 different pads rather than 3 different groups. I just like to organize my music into different groups, it's just part of my workflow.
