Hello My friend. But, it’s possible recording directly from an external Synth Keyboard, without use The Pad for insert note Event? Thanks

Hi i am also interested in how i can make this work? Can you help me with this?

Why do you need to select a pad to receive the audio from the synth?
@TheKitComplete3 жыл бұрын
It is a little complicated but when using any DAW with an external synth you will need to set up a midi channel to send midi to the synth and an audio channel to receive audio from the synth. In this case I used 2 pads to achieve that

My friend, great explanatory video. But I should, if possible, ask you a question: Let's say I want to record multiple parts of a Synthesizer (let's say 3 different parts, from 3 different patches of the aforementioned synth). For example, a pad, an arpeggio and a lead. All from the external synth. At this point I saw that, changing sound / patch, you had to go from GROUP A, to GROUP B. Here the question: It is therefore not possible to record the 3 external patches of the synth on the same Group A, with 3 pads assigned to the midi and 3 others to audio? And, I add, if this is not possible: every time I switch to the new group, do I have to deactivate the External IN Audio of the previous group and also the MIDI IN? Or enough, the audio In, as you do in the video? Thank you very much and congratulations again!

Hey thanks for the support. Yes you can route the audio into 3 different pads rather than 3 different groups. I just like to organize my music into different groups, it's just part of my workflow.
