This is great, thanks. Do you have a standard scene you could share to render the 4 balls and checkerboard floor we see in all the previews of HDRI haven? I need some way to verify the environment map is set up correctly, and to adjust exposure, etc. I think those previews are great, but if I recreate the same and it looks different, I can't be sure if it's because the objects materials do not match, the camera doesn't match, or if the issue is with the HDRI.

UPDATE: As of modern Blender, just use Environment Texture node, it works perfectly and doesn't require any extra work. Okay but now my HDRI is sideways and when I rotate it, it doesn't rotate properly so I can't get the sky where it needs to be. Thanks anyways, it almost worked.

Who does it bring in the background image as well? how do i get rid of it?
