So the FL FR aren't really extra buttons, they just map an existing button to another location. IE if you assign B to FR, both B, and FR have the same function... I was hoping for extra buttons

Assign mode let's you map an button to the FL and FR buttons found on the back on the controllers. As for Turbo, it basically automatically puts input onto the selected controller so you won't need to.

you can't, these have no motion (along with no rumble, IR, or NFC)

technically if you want you could attach a joycon to one side to use motion from it but i don't think that's worth it (though if you do i'd recommend using a right joycon so you still have a comfortable stick for movement)

My right Hori pad can only assign buttons from the right side and vice versa. So it´s impossible to assign the A and the B button since theyre both on the right side. That´s annyoing

Using it for two months now to play heavy button games like Fenyx, BOTW, etc. So far, no drifting. I also use it on light button games as i got attached to assign/turbo button 😅

Arggh.. Playing ashen (dark souls controls) and i wanted to assign the run(/dodge) button to the FL button so i could run while still using my thumb on the right thumbstick yet keep my fore- and middle fingers free on my right hand for fighting.. But, unfortunately, the only buttons that can be assigned to the function buttons are those located on that same joycon (so, no action buttons on the FL button, and no directional buttons on FR). Idk if this is of any help to anybody but just in case anyone's frantically searching KZbin for a work-around to this, I've yet to find one. That said, dark souls controls still benefit greatly from assigning the run/dodge button to FR. The end.
