whenever I make this mod, I like to use a bit of fluorescent label maker tape and relabel the controller. Peel the label when I mod back

We have a similar issue but in reverse on a Mavi Air 2. You put it it tripod mode on the controller but when it flies is flies in atti mode and I would like to put it in Tripod mode so the speed is controlled in tight areas. Any ideas?

The DJI Assistant software modification you describe does work on my Mavic 2 Zoom. I use ATTI mode to obtain smoother video shots as well as keeping my flying skills sharp. The only caveat is; ATTI only functions when using the Android Go 4 app. When I use my IPad I'm stuck with Tripod mode.

What firmware version are you on? I have one as well and the assistant 2 would not even recognize my aircraft.

@@SteelCityDrones I'm using firmware .01.00.0400. I had trouble getting Assistant 2 version 1.1.2 to recognizer my Zoom at first. I rebooted the drone and the software multiple times before the software would recognize my Zoom. Switching to ATTI mode is exactly as you show in your video.

Turning off downward vision positioning doesn't put you in attitude mode. I turn that off grequently when I fly low over water. GPS still holds the position.

@@ernieschatz3783 We have setup over 50 Enterprise dual and zoom and turning off downward vision puts the aircraft in ATTI mode every time. We know this as we train in ATTI mode on the customers aircraft.

@@SteelCityDrones If I turn off my all my obstacle avoidence, I still have GPS. Is it only Downward sensors to make it atti mode? In any case Much prefer that other Way you showed in the M2 app. Love the other parameters that pop up on my M2 enterprise . 👌☺

DJI should give us that option, I use atti all the time. If you ever lose GPS signal, the bird will go into atti mode and you will most likely at that time wish had the opportunity to practice with it.

Daniel I completely agree. I explain to students that the aircraft is like a puck on ice in ATTI mode where it will take any momentum of wind of horizontal speed and continue moving in that direction until the pilot corrects its direction. Practicing in ATTI mode will help become a better pilot.

Multiple flight speeds mode are working. However my intelligent flight modes are not, "follow me" etc. I do not even have the icon, below return to home, showing on the face of the DJI apt. Help!!

Intelligent flight modes are disabled in pilot with Mavic Enterprise. They are only available for Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 2 Zoom (non enterprise version) in go 4.

They removed it because novice pilots may damage their drone, persons or property. It's simply safer to remove it.

ATTI mode is as close to manual mode as you can get. Auto Height control is always there and can't be turned off.

@@dennislobos No sure what you mean by which number. There is a mode switch on the controller that changes the mode from Tripod-Sport-Position hold. There is no Acro mode.

you need to enable Multiple Flight Mode in the DJI go App - under the drone icon then advanced settings

Sorry we have not owned a PC in 5 years. The directions are the exact same though. The key is get the right Assistant 2 version.
