When the android phone is connected to the remote control, the former generally follows the USB BC1.2 standard (battery charging 1.2). The latter needs to provide 500 mA current when communicating with the mobile phone, and we're sorry that there is no option to turn it off.

Can you tilt the camera in hyperlapse mode. For example let's say you are using two waypoints and you want the camera to be looking in a slightly different direction at the end when it reaches the last point. Like if way point one is close to ground level and way point two is much higher and your are flying from point 1 to point 2 but want the camera to pan down as it rises. Thanks

I love how the circle mode on the video has the point of interest ( the building) perfectly in the middle but when you do it in reality the point of interest ends up to the far left or right at the end of the hyperlapse lol

Use after effects to stabilize it if it is to wonky you can also try warp stabilizer in premier pro but its kinda meh imo

I thought I shot some great hyperlapse footage this evening, but did pause it before the 125 frames were finished, due to windy conditions. The drone told me that the video had finished synthesising, but once landing I cannot find the footage anywhere. Would it not have been saved somewhere, I cannot find any info on how to access it . My drone does have a memory card installed.

Hi there, just to verify, do you enable to save the original pictures of time-lapse? If yes, please kindly connect the drone with PC to see whether the pictures are saved in the built-in storage.

In go4, enter "editor" , in the upper left corner you see a square with an arrow in it, tap it and select "import from sd card". your drone must be on and connected.

I bought a Mavic 2 Pro. I tried to shoot a hyperlapse for the first time with the CourseLock Mode. I watched several tutorials to be sure to have the right settings. I updated the software 2 days ago. I went to a French Harbor to shoot the Sunset with the clouds. I didn't know how to select an object to follow, like you showed it on this tutorial. The only thing I could do is to type on the screen of my phone like to focus my drone on an object. The Mavic 2 Pro didn't ask me which way I wanted to make my drone to go. I didn't really understand the 'Lock and Unlock' mode. I think I typed on the 'unlock mode' and then 'Go'. There were some seagulls flying close to the drone. But, the results are that my drone was swaying and that the axis of the camera was swinging between the left and the right, showing me, sometimes, one of the stand of the drone. Can you help me to understand what happened ? Because the final result of my hyperlapse didn't work at all. Thank you very much.

I just got my Mavic 2 Pro and do not even use these Hyperlapse options. I truly believe you can do it on your own with better results. i just tried one using Normal color at HQ 4k and it came out pretty good. I really believe you can do it.

Hello The option to change the duration of a hyperlapse in waypoint mode no longer works. The duration can be seen but not changed. Perhaps this bug was introduced in a firmware update. Can it be fixed please? Is there an official way to report a bug?

Hi Chris, you can select to save the JPEG and RAW format footage and store the footage in the built-in storage or SD card on the camera settings so you can review the RAW files. Is there a way to turn off the option of generating a video after the hyperlapse is shot? I only need the RAW files to process them later. This automatic video generation just eats battery mid-air and renders drone unusable for filming for a minute or two.

Hi kottik1 , we're afraid not. When the number of shots exceeds 25 (the generated video can be longer than 1 second), the hyperlapse video will be completed by default regardless of whether the hyperlapse photography is completed normally or exits abnormally (such as low battery RTH).

depends on how long the hyperlapse. a 15second (375 picture) 3secs interval hyperlapse usually requires most of the battery with 20% left.

I just created a hyperlapse with my Mavic 2 Pro and did not even use these Hyperlapse options. I think they are still too jerky for my liking. You would be surprised what you can do on your own and in post with software like Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, etc.

Tried to follow this and the drone wouldn't allow the go button to be hit. Then once i got it to start in circle mode it's didn't move at all. Then 2 min later the battery went flat. Thumbs down. This misses all the important set up steps

Take a look at Ken Heron's video on night flying where the FAA verifies that you can fly at night. US AIR MAP on the Know Before You Fly site indicates that I can fly in my city, and I always call the airport tower when it is open before I fly.
