The 2019 November newly launched HT5006 is a ultra-long-range (300ft / 160m) Bluetooth in-ear Earbud and Transmitter set for TV watching, AV Receiver, PC Gaming and more.

The optical on mine is going through the hub passthrough to a Bose speaker for everyone else and that works fine but the audio isn't coming through the headphones. They are powered on, paired, and headphones volume up but nothing. 😢

There could be many, many different reasons for this. Go to your TV's settings menu and check these: Audio Output is set to Optical, and Audio Output Format is set to PCM. Have the headphones functioning correctly, but ideally want audio coming from TV and Headphones. Is the only way to do this is to have a sound bar and utilize the bypass feature?

Hi there! Depending on your TV, yes, this would be the only way. Many TVs have an automatic feature that automatically turns off the TV speaker once something is plugged into the optical port. That's why we developed the passthrough feature. Hope this helps!

Hello, thanks for asking. The difference is mainly with the Bluetooth adapter. the adapter for HT5006 gives you longer range and it supports "bypass" - a function that allows you to have your soundbar and transmitter share the same optical port (while both can work at the same time).
