Thank you for your explicit explanation and technical demonstration in your videos. I had learnt tonnes of new information and critical knowledges about discus throw from your videos. My discus throw athlete manage to throw 36.6 metres in national school meet in lately. Thank you coach

I've thrown for decades and coached for half that-- and this is IMHO correct and clear -- a very rare combination. Late in my career, I figured out that my front foot had to turn in (I reverse) and that was definitely a plus.

Wow! I was literally JUST thinking about this a few days ago! I have a thrower I'm training who is flat footed and naturally does better with a non reverse. I've been looking for ways to maximize the power on her release, but it wasnt until I slowed down her videos frame by frame that it became oh so clear. Problem is, I only knew how to coach the reverse... This changes everything for her! I'm going out tomorrow to throw to test your theory AND so that I can bank the feeling and explain and teach it to her. Very good info!

I would like a video about the advantages of leading with upper body, lower body and both between pilar 2 and 3, before the sprint face.

Uncanal de entretenimiento we think we follow the question? Sounds like you are asking for 3 explanations. Is that your question?
@uncanaldeentretenimiento99185 жыл бұрын
Arete Throws Nation TV yeah, some throwers like Jacko Gill guide with the shoulders but Ryan Crouser leads the sprint step with the hips. I am not so sure which of them use so the advantages of both will be useful so I can make an election.

Is it possible to non reverse in shot put? For a shot putter that struggles with the reverse action?
@aretethrowsnation4 жыл бұрын
Neil Pieterse Gotta reverse in the shot since they implement site on the body. It’s critical and adds a lot of distance.
