I love the Boye. Only made one with it so far and that one is 97% perfect without a lot of trimming. Making a cardboard circle trimming guide sandwich for the un-trimmed pom pom works great. I watched videos about several makers before deciding that the Boye would work best for me. Heidi

I just started using the Clover. I purchased all of the sizes with my 50% off coupons, then I saw the Boye set at JoAnns as one of their doorbuster deals for the holidays. I was going to run in and get a set before they close if they were better. Thanks for your demo. I agree, the Clover is much easier to use.

I’m so glad you didn’t find it to be a “great” Pom making tool. I literally looked up a tutorial video to use the. Boye because I was thinking I wasn’t doing something right. Like you said it works, just more effort and the result is not “as” fluffy and (for me) sturdy. PS - thanks for showing Clover too.

The clover Pom Pom makers are good but I like that the Boye has 10 different sizes and tassel maker. The pom poms come out uneven but I have super sharp scissors that shape them up pretty quickly! 😀

I found a very old Boye pom pom maker. I'm not sure if I have all the parts & the only instructions are on the back of the box. All I have are 4 multisize discs & 4 different sizes of what look like Hot Wheel tracks. Any advice?

I'm new to this and had no idea about any of the tools or how to. To make it worse, the instructions that came with the Boye were absolutely horrible and useless! Very basic, not clear, no tips such as make sure your beginning left side string is extra long to tie off. Thank you for showing me how, something the company failed to do. Appreciate it greatly.

Is there not ONE person who can learn how to use this shit and then teach me? Do NOT follow this video and expect to get a damn Pom Pom. Trust me. You’ll end up with some yarn wrapped plastic that you can’t tie together.
