Actually, you can do everything in BrickStore. There is a new feature to copy/merge data from one sheet to another. You first import your BL store inventory in one sheet, and in the other sheet, you select "Edit > Copy values from document...", select the store inventory document and then choose/reject the fields you want to copy, merge or ignore. Very handy and more control on what is going on. And if you are wondering if it works with huge inventory, I did try it last week with a store inventory of over 2M parts, and the merge took just a few seconds.

Thank you for pointing this out. I did not know that. I will at some point have to make a tutorial about it. Thanks Hugo!

Do you currently use BrickFreedom, or are you still using BrickPacker. I use BF but was thinking of switching to BP.
@JustABrickInTheBucket3 жыл бұрын
We still use BrickFreedom. We find it to be a very good system with lots of additional features.

@@JustABrickInTheBucket Thanks, I have been using it for 2 months. Was thinking of switching to BP because the fees are lower. Very happy with BF Though. I'll Stay There.

What the merge function is ?

It BrickFreedom it tells you what parts you already have in your inventory and where they should go.

You could put the reference link to Brickfreedom. For each person using the link you can earn 14 days without commissions. If I knew about this situation before I created an account I would have used your link.

You don't need to create a new file, add the set and then part it out. Instead just use import > BrickLink set inventory, or even faster cmd + i, cmd + i.

True! Thank you! Hadn't realized that! Thank you Areolys!

Why so complicated? You can get the price and remarks within Brickstore, so there is no need for Brickfreedom, XML files, save and load. Otherwise nice video as always.
@benjudgefirst3 жыл бұрын
How do you do that?
@notjustcollectibles3 жыл бұрын
@@benjudgefirst Follow Evan's tutorial and save the file on your computer after you removed the colors you don't want to put away just yet. Now we stay in Brickstore and do the following: File - Import - Bricklink store inventory In the tab with your set mark all items Click on Edit - Copy values from document Select your store file from the list that pops up Hit Next Hit Next again (or make changes if you want to, it is not needed for this purpose though) And now you have all the remarks and prices copied from your store without having to include another website or more files. All is done in Brickstore
